The experience in grams place was quite extraordinary. The beds are in old train wagons and everywhere is stuff and messages from people who have been there before. A must stay! There is a kitchenette where you can bring your own food and cook together with other people. Its easy to meet new people and its much fun to enjoy...

We spent 2 nights at the Gram's place hostel in Tampa - the jazz room. The hostel may not be located in the most beautiful area of Tampa, but this doesn't matter because all entries including the main entrance are closed with a code! So don't worry. The personal is awesome, interested in what you experienced the day and always...

My buddy and I were in FL to see some baseball spring training games and stayed here for the first game at Steinbrenner Stadium (Yankees)... Liked it so much we came back 11 days later for our last game before heading home. In between, we stayed at the most inexpensive, but reputable places we could find in other cities. Gram's...

Still scratching from being bitten by bed bugs. An infestation occurred in the Amsterdam room. Apparently an ongoing problem that has not been able to resolved. The pain of these bites are just not worth it.

It is an eclectic comfortable little BnB and a great place to hide from the hustle and bustle of Tampa,FL.Near downtown, bus station and Amtrak station. Not a big stretch to the airport.Snuggled in historic Seminole Hts.Craft breweries, and interesting restaurant.

First of all Christine is such a sweet heart, she took care of us like we were her own kids! Sitting in the jacuzzi drinking wine was the highlight of my trip. The air conditioner in our room broke and we were immediately moved to a private room. All I can say is love love love this place. The hostel...

I just love the 1960's deco. The bunk bed is small but the shower is adequate. The dipping pool is bonus. The kitchen is nice for breakfast. This place is very relaxing on its own. However, I use it as a staging point to rent a car and venture south to Everglade.

Thank you for your review. You must have stayed in our Train dorm. You are correct in that the single sized beds can be small'ish for some people. It does have the train car ambiance to it and can appear cramped compared to our Amsterdam dorm with twin sized beds and more space. I hope you enjoyed your follow on...

Really a wonderful place to stay when traveling on business. The first nite I was there we watched, "When Harry Met Sally." They showed the movie on the deck.. I enjoyed just kicking back and relaxing with great conversation and with people all over the world. The place was well managed with great security. A place I will return to.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chick flick that I had going that night. That movie is one of my favorites! I do put on more exciting movies...I promise. Some of the best nights here at the inn are movie nights. Then there's also the impromptu music nights. Thanx for staying with us and for taking the time to write a...

before getting to gram's, i had a completely different vision of what the place would be like. this is definitely a unique place with a great set up and a lot of space to hang out. it is very easy to find once you arrive at the address and the hostel is a short walk away from the bus stop....

It's the rare guest who doesn't like our hostel hound, Maggie Moo, or our hostel cat, Audrey. They are both rock stars with most of our guests. Maggie, of course, is still afraid of Audrey and I don't ever see a change in that dynamic. Thank you for pointing out the positive aspects of our little hostel. We do sometimes...
