We stayed at this hotel for a week. Nothing huge went wrong during our stay but I do have some comments and concerns regarding the hotel. The rooms were decent. We had a double queen sized room for 4 people and we managed quite nicely. It is nice the room has a fridge and microwave. Half the staff were awesome... More

As a Choice Privileges Diamond member, I stay at Choice-branded properties frequently, of which Clarion is one of the higher-tier brands. Based on my experience with Clarion properties, this hotel probably just barely reaches Clarion standard. This is an older, 1960's style hotel that has seen various upgrades over the years. It is a somewhat sprawling facility, and the exterior... More

The only positive of this place it the pool and the distance to Busch Gardens. The staff was rude and wouldn't give you the time of day if they didn't work there. Dirty, outdated and marginal food. You receive a food voucher and have to eat in the dining area and can not take food to your room. The pool... More

I booked this thru the app. Since it's a "hotel and suites" I was shocked when I arrived late at night and found that my room was motel style with a climb up stairs and exterior doors. (Having a traveller with disabilities, this was a huge inconvenience. I just assumed that being a hotel it would have elevators!) The room... More

Spent four days here during holiday tour of the west coast. The hotel is priced competitively and some of the services reflect this. Overall value for money. Breakfast always crowed and sometimes we were unable to find a seat. In fact only bothered twice, felt more like a canteen than a hotel breakfast. Rooms were large and clean but we... More

After reading the reviews, I was somewhat hesitant in staying at this property. However, either I stayed at a different hotel or my standards are lower than those of other reviewers. I found this hotel to be fine. Yes, the room décor is dated but the rooms are a good size. The in-room safe was a nice amenity and everything... More

I was in Tampa for one evening to visit USF. The positives: The location is ideal as its close to the school and near a CVS and a handful of restaurants. The price was right for one evening. They let me check in early and there was an adult pool and kiddie pool. The conveniences end there. Upon checking in,... More

The Rooms are somewhat dated but very clean. The location is jus 1 mile from Bush Gardens and Adventure Island. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Two pools, one for the kids. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but a new restaurant is opening shortly should this should change. It is also located just 2 miles from USF... More

I checked in for a 3 night stay that I pre-paid for. The ONLY reason I picked this hotel was for the kid pool. The day I arrived the kid pool was closed for repair. The front desk informed me it would be open at 10 am the next day. It is almost 4 pm and it is still closed.... More

I chose this hotel for 2 main reasons: the hotel advertised free shuttle to Busch Gardens and free breakfast. Where do I begin to list all of the problems I encountered! 1. The room was decent enough for the rate I paid. My friend and I were leaving for dinner and decided to put our laptops in the safe, only... More
