Location is great, close to restaurants, shopping and grocery. The view is beautiful but be ready to walk a long way to the ocean. The beach is the widest beach I have ever seen. The Sands is old but clean, very interesting kitchenette system in...More
People in office are very nice. Place is not what I expected except for the view. The place needs some major renovations and or fixing. Cleaning says daily housekeeping but we only had it every second day bed was made not changed clean towels but...More
I have stayed here many times. This is my first spring break. It won't be my last. I have stayed at other places on the beach. Including prime condos. My kids always ask to come back here. This place has more to offer than you...More
This is an older hotel but clean and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the old style tile in the bathroom and vintage furnishings. The room was large with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with a door. Plenty of room! The office staff was...More

Shell Island Preserve Park (about 20min away) has them and I believe the one time I've ever done that it was $45/day. TS is correct, it's a hefty/long walk from almost any hotel to the actual water.
Sunburst Inn in Indian Rocks Beach, right up the road, has umbrellas and lounge chairs you can use, on the beach, no extra charge for them. If they're booked solid you'll have to do an "early bird gets the worm" kind of thing but we've stayed there too.
