Upon arriving at the Edgewater, a guest walks into a corridor back to the lobby. To the right of the hallway is an operating ice cream shop set to a 1920s decor. On the left side of the hall is the original elevator installed in...More

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater Hotel. Our room was spacious, yet cozy. The breakfast was wonderful. I really appreciated the choice of free range, organic eggs. The staff was friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at "home".

We usually lock our bikes inside our vehicle. The staff at the hotel is very accommodating so I'm sure they would be more than willing to help you bring them upstairs. The West Orange Trail is one of our favorite trails and downtown Winter Garden is beautiful with many fine restaurants and shops. Check out the Plant St Market and don't miss the Farmers Market on Saturday. Also take an evening stroll down to Lake Apopka.
Winter Garden, and the hotel are 13 miles from central Orlando. However the Orlando airport is probably 10 miles to the southeast of central Orlando, so my best guess is that it is 25-30 miles from the airport.
