The manor itself and the territory is beautiful; deer and sheep wander around in enclosure - could be fun for children to see them. Though I was not so keen on the interior - mish-mash of different styles and full of different knick-knacks - not sure what the decorators wanted to say with that. Check-in procedure was quick, room was...

The rooms are very small and the walls are paper-thin. The restaurant was a huge disaster. The worst value for money I ever encountered. I was literally ashamed when the tourists were sitting next to me at breakfast. The carelessness and outrageously poor service quality will leave a negative impression about our beautiful country.

One of the many reconstructed Baltic manors. Pseudo - historic interiors, but the plastic windows. Rooms vary, but the first time I saw the room without chair and hangers... Prices do not meet the quality. Nice neighborhood, but there is nothing remarkable .

We chose this place over other manors and castles in Latvia because of several small, but important things for a romantic weekend, e.g., milk SPA, good food, and a cup of warm milk before bedtime. However the experience did not fully meet the expectations. A short list of pros and cons: + beautiful location + SPA + well renovated manor...

We chose this place since my wife had read a good review in woman's magazine - romantic getaway in the countryside, premium stay, etc. The real experience did not come up to the expected. A few details: + beautiful location, nature all around, baby deer running nearby + well renovated manor + additional buildings, nice surroundings + tennis courts looked...

Piena muiza is a spa hotel about 200 km from Riga. It is situated in a nice area with beautiful nature around. Very peaceful and romantic place, which can offer you a nice dinner in a restaurant, milk baths and spa treatments and the sky full of stars.

Idyllic settings, good views, tasty food, but pretty ordinary rooms with amenities of average grade. . Manor had been renovated with no expense spared. There are crystal chandlers and marble, stained glass and new equipment everywhere. Basement level prides itself on dedicated health zone, pool, Jacuzzis, couple of saunas and small but tastefully decorated “milk theme” SPA. Room is surprisingly...

“The rooms have very thin walls between them, so if your neighbor is snoring, you are going to have a bad time. No place where to hang towels or coats.”

“No sense to take suite. Opt for any standard room, looking at a lawn. Opposite side would be far too noisy.”
