We really enjoyed our night stay in Covington at the Twelve Oaks! The room was very cozy and we woke up to the smell bacon, coffee & strawberry pancakes prepared by owner of home. Walking distance to one of my favorite small towns in Georgia. We stopped by the Cork for wine tasting, Scoops for ice cream & wonderful dinner...

The house is gorgeous. The cannonball room was simply amazing. The bathtub was fabulous! The breakfasts were delicious. The 5 o'clock wine and cheese was so nice - it was nice to meet the other guests! The staff was so nice and helpful. Covington is a lovely town! We enjoyed our time and will be back for sure!

Since the costumer service (even BEFORE the reservation was even finished, because my card is from another country) everything about this place was GREAT! Southern breakfast was also unbelievable good. Staying in these rooms was a experience that I will treasure for years to come. The bed sheets were so good that I ended up buying one. Cannot say enough...

My wife and I lived in Savannah for ten years before moving back to the Atlanta area and have stayed at numerous B&B's with historic value. Twelve Oaks is THE best B&B we have stayed at by far. Every room has a unique, thought out theme and it's own perk. The details are amazing, we checked in early and enjoyed...

We stayed for one night in the Cannonball Run Grand Suite. The bathtub was so relaxing. The king size bed was so comfortable we had to request what brand mattress it was so we could purchase it when we got home! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas in December. All the rooms had different themes. We will definitely have...

Pros: Beautiful grounds and rooms Romantic Unique property More private than a busy hotel Easy to find Cons: Road noise $250-350/night, which may seem pricey (But see notes below on both of these) My husband and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary. As a native southerner, I was instantly charmed by this beautiful antebellum mansion in...

Until they work the tweaks out of a time machine, this is the best way to experience the old south. From lush landscaping, to the majestic pillared porch, and the charming staircase - this is a treat for all the senses. The hardwood floors, the openness of the second floor landing, the gorgeous chandeliers - just breathe in the magic...

I was very interested in this site due to its connection with Margaret Mitchell's comment that she saw this as a possible style for Twelve Oaks in the GWTW movie. Though the planting could use some spiffing up, the exterior is very nice. But I had just been to a very lavish property in Macon Georgia ($60 cheaper than 12...

We do try hard to please everyone, and I am sorry that your stay wasn't what you were looking for. I've talked to my staff about making sure that each and every guest is offered assistance with their luggage; that is our standard and I'm sorry that it was not offered to you. I am surprised about your comment about...
