Got picked up at Woody Gap and stayed the night. Everyone I encountered in my stay was pleasant, helpful, and you could tell they knew what they were doing. The place has great karma. Check out the free trail snacks left by others in the kitchen.

I visited the Hiker Hostel in March just before new ownership took over, so take my review for what it's worth. I stayed at the hostel the night before beginning a thru hike of the Benton MacKaye Trail. For a reasonable price, they shuttled me from North Springs Marta station, lodged me for the night, and dropped me off the...

Love this area of GA. Stop on by for breakfast and shuttle to trailhead of the AT. Hike all day and shuttle takes ya back to Hiker Hostel for a nice hot shower in the cutest container with small fridge, coffee pot, microwave, and dishes. Heavenly! Container #2 faces east and has two sliding doors. Only issue with this location...

Stayed for a weekend in a shipping container cabin, which was both interesting and comfortable. The sunrise and moon sky views were gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. My stay was just perfect!

stayed in the container cabin this time. Highly recommend. Well priced with a good breakfast although it is too early imo. They make you eat at 730 and if you're there relaxing 730 is a tad early. Other than that I highly recommend this place!

This place is a lifesaver. To start with the service is outstanding the customer service trumps just about anyone else enough can't be said. We had one of the container rooms. It was comfortable extremely clean and well organized. The shower had good pressure and an abundant of hot water. The bed was a medium softness and pillows were soft....

I can't say enough good things about this place. Friendly owners, great service, and convenient shuttle service are but a few of the great things for this place. You will be glad you stayed with Josh and Leigh.

extremely friendly, knowledgeable, the bunks are comfortable, the containers are FANTASTIC, plus they saved us arranging a shuttle to pick us up super last minute when we realized we had left the keys of our car behind. plus me being and Ultrarunner and Josh being the Race Director to one of the toughest 100 mile races, just made me even...

We stayed at the Hiker Hostel in February 2015 on our fifth day on the trail as my son and I, and our hiking buddy Kevin (Silverback) were heading north on our AT through hike. Josh and Leigh were fantastic. Very accommodating to hiker's needs. This was our first hostel stop after having spent the first five days camping in...
