We had just got done hiking for two and a half days and out transport informed us of the cabins at Forrest Hills, we were quick to call and get one of the private cabins. We were so happy dealing with the friendly staff, who were more than accommodating, and even more excited seeing where we would be for two...

We arrived around 9 pm after traveling all day. Grounds were very dark, but I suppose they want it that way since it is located in the mountains. When we arrived to our lodge we needed to get out our flashlight to find our room. The hallway to our room was VERY dark and there were sporadic little stair cases...

We always appreciate constructive criticism. It sounds like you stayed in a suite at our Mountain Laurel Inn. All new window treatments and bedding have already been ordered for this entire building and we are awaiting their arrival. New carpet will also be installed in the near future. Green isn't a typical breakfast color for a country buffet. We have...

Me and My wife found a room here at a great price through travelocity. We saw some great reviews so we felt it was worth a shot, especially for a one night's stay. The Resort is definitely in the middle of nowhere and a decent little trip from Downtown but we enjoyed our stay. There was some confusion on the...

We were able to get a good deal on this resort, we stayed in the Bears Den Lodge and had breakfast included every day. It's nestled back in the woods and the gardener Jake has done a wonderful job of landscaping in and around all of the buildings. We did not go to the Coral, but we did see it....

Forrest Hills Mountain Resort is a great place for a quiet getaway. The staff was very accommodating and polite. We stayed in Deer Trail Lodge. Our room was large with two queen beds. The lodge had a living room with a kitchen and area with table and chair for eating/games. It had two rooms set aside for meetings and conferences....

My family of 3 plus our dog stayed 3 nights at Forrest Hills. Our cabin was the Robin's Best and was surprised how large it was! 2 big bedrooms each with a private full, huge bathroom. Is this place fancy? No. If you want a true resort feel, this is not it. If you expect finely furnished touches, not for...

We stayed in one of the cabins which was really clean, had a sunken hot tub which was really nice. We had the supper on Friday night which was fantastic and it's a couples only dining area. We ate the breakfast each morning which was a huge buffet of eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, bacon and sausage, hash browns, fruit bar,...

This is gem of a place away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. We were pleasantly surprised by the rustic accommodations and nature surroundings tucked away in the mountains. This is a place to have a romantic get away or just a quick break. Would love to have spent more time here and did some hiking or horseback riding....

Came up as a guest for a wedding and made a weekend out of it. Lovely, comfy little secluded cabins set in the quiet, peaceful woods. They did a great job with my friend's wedding--great celebration and event facilities, and great food throughout the weekend. Next time we need a weekend getaway, we're heading back! Nice and laid back--and great...
