This campground is a great place to camp. There is water & power. The people there are so nice and helpful. Lots of things to do in the area. At the campground, you can fish or play in the river. The bathhouse is good for a nice warm shower. The only problem was the WIFI-it advertises free WIFI and it...

We have been coming here for about three years. We were really disappointed at first but since Ruby took it back it has come up in class. It takes time and money to improve anything and with attendance down the money hasn't come in very fast. She has done a lot, the restrooms and showers are kept clean and well...

Really relaxing way to spend the weekend before school. We had a tent site by the river and it was so peaceful. The bathrooms were super clean, nice showers, toilets, etc. We brought our dogs and they loved it.Groundskeepers keep the place really clean and pest free. Quiet and nice campground, would definitely recommend!

We read the reviews and decided to see for ourselves. It is close to Dahlonega and really is a decent campground. Nice and quiet with a pretty creek to wade in. I panned but no luck. Bathrooms were clean so all in all I didn't see any problems with it. I will definitely come back.

Upon Entering the campground the first thing I noticed was that the road was bumpy and clay, probably not ideal to drive on when it's been raining. Just further inside the road to the right up a little path on a hill, there's an old torn up and burned abandoned camper, very much of an eyesore. Upon arriving at the...

We read the reviews online and decided to give it a try anyway and we are glad we did. Not sure how many owners it has had or who or when they got a new owner, but they seem to be doing a good job keeping the area clean and mowed. No gate at the beginning that will tear a...

We were recently in the area and previewed the campgrounds closest to Dahlonega.Etowah River CG is quite close, but I am glad we previewed it rather than showing up exhausted after a long drive. We did not stay here, so this is just from a first impression only, take it or leave it. Once you leave the paved road, there...

We really enjoyed our visit. The campground and the host are very laid back. Our site had plenty of space and backed up to the river. It was very quiet where we were. We couldn't hear any rv sounds. We were able to set up our large tent and an easy up with plenty of space. Our site had water,...

We stayed at ERC for two nights while our son went through orientation at UNG. The campground is the closest one to the campus that we could find. It is an easy drive to the campus. The campground was very quiet, the grass was mowed and the roads had been recently scraped down. The river at the back of the...
