What a wonderful surprise to find this charming B & B in Darien, GA! Zach and Carrie are so accommodating and nice! The beds were very comfortable with great linens! Skipper's Fish House and Waterfront Wine Bar were within walking distance! And, oh, did I mention the gourmet breakfast crepes--delicious and beautifully presented!! We will definitely be back!!

We stayed for one full week here so here are the highlights: - Zach, owner and consummate professional. Also stupendous breakfast maker and the most accommodating host. - Beautifully located inn with all the charm still in tact (there are some plans for upgrades that will keep in character with the house) - Lot's of common area indoors and out....

Thank you so much for spending the week with us, and your honest straight forward review! I will always try to be accommodating if I can, as our guests are our livelihood and will always have guest first service. Thank you for highlighting our efforts to improve the bnb. We felt right at home from the moment Zach met at the front door until he walked us out to our car upon departure, where we were introduced to Dale Potts - the chocolate lady across the street. Zach has her chocolates on your bed at check in. Zach has the perfect personality as an inn keeper. He was quite...

We look forward to your future visits as well! I don't know how l got so lucky with a chocolate and shortbread cookie factory across the street, but I couldn't ask for a better neighbor! She has free samples of everything, you just can't beat that. Best neighbor I ever had! I always show guests a map of town and...

My husband and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary with a stay at Open Gates. The house is beautiful, and the area is quaint. Everything was clean and cozy. Zach, the host and chef, was the perfect blend of professional, friendly, and laid back. I can't say enough good things about the food. Breakfast was phenomenal! I'd love to stay...

We are so glad you decided to stop as well! Darien is the blink of an eye traveling on the Interstate, but at exit 49 we are a short 2 miles to our historic downtown district.
