Absolutely no complaints. D W Inn went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. Supplied a surprise wine/cheese/fruit platter (for a fee) as my husband requested on our anniversary day. Provided breakfast an hour early so we would not miss our ferry to Sapelo Island. All 3 breakfasts were excellent. The seafood restaurant located just below our Inn was...

Worse place I 'ge ever stayed at. Dirty, drop in ceiling in bath(mold), outlets falling out of the walls and bugs. Cried myself to sleep. They need a health inspector to drop in. The owner was crabby. The mattress was old with a foam mattress topper.

Guest did not stay here. I believe this review is for the wrong property. There is an old, previous chain hotel on the I95 in Darien recently changed their name to the Darien Inn. We have not had any travelers from the Illinois area in the past few months. Sarah, if you would like to forward me your confirmation number...

I was a little disappointed with our experience when other people rated it so well. It was small and quiet and the porch is very nice, but it faces a parking lot,not the river. The room was clean but not squeeky clean. The carpet needed to be replaced in our room, it was worn and and kind of nasty. Do...

Wow. We are certainly disappointed that your stay with us was not up to par for you. We do not claim to be high-end or upscale but we love our unique B&B and what we have to offer our guests. In order to keep our rates low to attract those who wouldn't normally stay at a B&B we do things...

If you're passing through, it's a must stay. Owner and host Joann went beyond kindness to welcome us. And she converted an antique warehouse into this lovely, unique B & B. Each room has its own character. Dining area is equipped with fridge, micro, ice, Keurig, all kinds of breakfast foods: just like home. Most comfy bed ever! Darien was...

Very nice Inn on the river. Room is very nice, with a very comfortable bed.The porch is a perfect place to rock awhile, unwind, and watch the shrimp boats. Even though she wasn't feeling well JoAnne made us a great breakfast. We couldn't ask for a more enjoyable place to stay.

We never thought it would be possible to enjoy ourselves as much as we did in the small town of Darien. The Waterfront Inn, the wine bar, Fort King George, and excellent fresh seafood made for a great experience for us. Jo Ann's sweet potato pancakes are out of this world.

We only stayed for one night but we felt right at home. When we first got to the downtown we thought that it might just be a boring night since the downtown seemed so small. Looks are deceiving. The Waterfront Inn was a perfect place for relaxing and the downtown was so lively that we got tired before the night...

Joann operates a very cozy B&B and she is very accommodating. Cleanliness & comfort are A#1. Breakfast always is something we look forward to. Location is excellent. We return periodically just to enjoy the inn and the uniqueness of Darien. Good restaurants nearby.
