Stayed there June 6 and 7. This place holds a lot of personal memories from long ago summer vacations. Glad it hasn't changed too much from the old days. It has all the modern conveniences without having lost why I have loved it all these...More
We had never been to Jekyll Island before and thought we would try to find a hotel here. There is a $6 fee to get on the island so we were hoping we could find something. There are several hotels and we stopped at the...More

Thank you for your review of our Jekyll Island Holiday Inn Resort Hotel. Our team is pleased that you enjoyed your stay and chose us to accommodate your lodging.
I booked an ocean front suite as a treat for my father and I on our trip north from FL to NY. This was NOT worth the money. There were cockroaches in my room, several of which I killed and showed to the chamber maids...More
Best view of the ocean, self catering type of rooms. Suite has big bedroom and living room with ocean view. Pet friendly for those traveling with pets. A lot to do and see. Close to a boat casino if you care for that kind of...More
We really liked staying right on the beach at this holiday inn. The beds are comfy and there’s a nice size refrigerator in the room. Wish there would have been a safe though. Also they need to remodel the tub/shower. It’s hard to shower standing...More

We left an expensive makeup mirror at a hotel at St. Simon’s Island, just a few miles over from Jekyll Island. We were about 2 hours up the road when we realized we forgot to pack it. Called the hotel; they had secured the mirror; were extremely nice; sent it to us via UPS. We had to pay for the shipment. It was cheaper than buying a new mirror. The Holiday Inn Resort at Jekyll is well managed with a professional and caring staff. No doubt they would have done the same for you. Unfortunately, we stayed at a well known inn and rather expensive, in Savannah. My significant other wound up missing a very valuable piece of jewelry that was in our room when we left for breakfast. It was missing when we returned. BTW...the room door was locked when we left and was still locked when we returned. Attempts to recover were met with nothing but excuses from inn management. Needless to say, we’ll not return to that inn. BTW...The Inn at Forsyth Park is totally outstanding. Try that one next time you’re in Savannah!
