I stayed at the Old Parsonage for a weekend in February 2017 with my husband and young baby. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We were in the panelled room on the ground floor and our very large bathroom was just across the hallway. We...More
Double room with four poster bed, shutters on window provide blackout in room making for an excellent night sleep. First class delicious breakfast with local food. Very hospitable owners Charlotte and Brian.
This is one of the nicest bed & breakfast I've stayed in. The room was with a four poster bed and it was so lovely and very clean. The location is perfect and the owners are very welcoming. The whole bed and breakfast was decorated...More

So glad you enjoyed your week end away and everything was just right for you at The Old Parsonage. A blazing log fire makes all the difference when it is is miserable outside!
A beautiful building, welcoming fire in the lounge and a grand room. The bed was super comfy and toasty warm. I normally sleep badly anywhere other than home, but at the old parsonage I slept excellent. The added bonus of the little kitchen area made...More
Really old parsonage with plenty of character. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The shower is not great being electric and the double bed isn't exactly generous. The experience however was first class with a really good choice for breakfast including their homemade marmalade. Would certainly...More

Not at the hotel but....apart from an indian and a pub you must visit The Old Station Inn, barely 2 mins. away. really quirky old pub with the bar stuffed with odds and sods and even half a car sticking out of the wall. Out back there is a carriage from the Flying Scotsman used as as dining car, really furnished nice. Food is great and not too expensive, landlady is Welsh and can't do enough for you. The Old Parsonage recommended this place to us as did friends who live in Bath.
The next village (Midsomer Norton) is only a couple of miles away with a lot of restaurants.
