Trip was for a date weekend with my husband. I had "stumbled" across the web site and decided to take in the dinner show. It was not Broadway, but it was fun and enjoyable. Worth the price. and then back to the Tavery to listen to the live entertainment. Great music!. OK I am in love with this place and...

Don't you get tired of the chain hotels? I did, so I looked for something different. Found the New Perry Hotel (Over 100 years old). Exceptionally friendly staff. Although the hotel is old, it is clean, everything works. There are historic rooms in the hotel and more modern BIG rooms in the annex. On site swimming pool, access to a...

Coming from Chicago to visit a place that is a historical place was exciting and different. However Historical does obviously creepy and antique. From the front door on in is a moldy smell andmay come from the wood peices themselves but there is old smeLl neverthe less. In the womens guest washroom is an old relic of what used to...

We stayed here for two nights for the Perry Dogwood Festival...we were vendors there for the weekend (Crafting From Our Hearts LLC)...the room was small and very cozy. Our bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in! Room was clean, had a really nice clean smell. It was very laid back and everyone, including the other folks...

This place is a time warp. It's the type of place where you can hear all the town gossip in the hotel bar. It's pretty much original from the 50/60's. If you're are squeamish about old vintage styling then you better drive on but if you want to take a break from this decade and several before it's a fun...

Saw this on tripadvisor last year and had to cancel my first trip due to illness. So I made a point to stay there this trip south. Really enjoyed it. I had a choice of two rooms, was able to look at each before deciding which one I preferred. Very clean, nice decor. It's an historical hotel, so the rooms...

This hidden gem is an unbelievable find just off the interstate in Perry, Ga. Upon entering the hotel you are greeted by the wonderful owners who welcome you as though you were long lost friends. The unique atmosphere is truly more like a Bed and Breakfast then a hotel. The rooms are each decorated beautifully and are immaculately kept. The...

On our way to a family wedding we stopped at the New Perry Hotel for lunch. Last time we had been here was in the early 90's. Still the same lovely dining room with excellent food. We had chicken and dumplings and red velvet cake. Not lite but delicious! A must stop!

We had the opportunity to stay in this delightful hotel recently when we visited the Georgia National Fair with friends. My husband is a Georgia native and is very familiar with the history of the hotel. We are very impressed with the renovation and restoration the new family owners are doing to return it to its former charm and beauty....

“JUst ask them what is available. I stayed in the main hotel not the poolside rooms. No elevator, if you have heavy luggage, ask for a poolside room as they are all on ground floor. All main hotel rooms are on second floor.”
