We stayed at Nature Fruit Farm Resort for 3 nights and we just had not enough of it, there were many activities and a very big space for my kids to explore, to burn their energy and to keep them busy. We spent quality family time together around the resort and the village. The homemade breakfast prepared by the resort owner were sumptuous. Would certainly want to pay another visit to the place in the future.

If you’re looking to escape from it all this gorgeous forest retreat away from the hustle and bustle is a perfect choice. Relax immediately into the sights, sounds smells and tastes of nature and amazing hospitality from Jenny and her husband, Mr Tan, who have built this idyllic escape on the family’s working fruit farm in rural Penang over the past 15 years from reclaimed materials. I loved my Malay chalet on stilts over a stream fed from the nearby waterfall, but you can choose from a variety of accommodation from bricks and mortar villas further up the hill or rooms in the main building which also houses the Durian Cafe. You can explore the surrounding area by bike and really immerse yourself in nature. I’ll definitely be back!

Stayed a day for a sudden trip after persuasiveness from my 3 kids. Even though the road was not that good as it is preferred to use SUV or 4WD to drive there. Not too bad bad as I was driving my sedan Passat(I love My Car) but no harm done to my car. Arrived at 6pm and the sudden change of new environment for my kids surprised them. Initially they where a bit worried as the drive into the stay was too deep but after they see the Hill Top villa they were amazed. Tan and Jenny was very friendly host and always willing to help. Jenny is a good cook too and surprised us with her traditional style of food which is Steamed Fish with Cili Padi and Soya sauce was delicious. This dish is not part of the package. Our stay was on top of the hill which I find worth walking up. Scenery was awesome. The Durians here I find it have their own unique taste, especially the smaller size durians. Highly recommend this place for a family who love nature and not forgetting our companion friend for our trekking walk Ben and Jerry. Superb Nature Dog and companion. Jenny's fried Jack Fruit for breakfast was one of a kind.

I stayed at Nature fruit farm resort for two nights. It is a lovely farm with beautiful rooms, a big common area and the most amazing garden. This place is a good escape from the city, but there are plenty of activities around. The resort offers bikes, to do a bike tour though nature, also it is possible to walk up the hill, to the amazing viewpoint. There are plenty of food options, only 10 minutes by bike. Jenny is a great host, she made me feel at home straight from the start. I enjoyed this peaceful and calm place, thanks you Jenny!

This family-run fruit farm and homestay offered wonderful accommodations, delicious home-cooked meals, and amazing types of fresh durian, all of which is grown on the farm. Mr.Tan and his wife, Jenny, are welcoming hosts who really know their durian. They offered valuable tips about Penang's durian scene as well as recommendations about the area. They were also very helpful in arranging local taxis for us and explaining how the Grab app (the local Uber app) worked. Our quiet bungalow was up the hill, away from the main communal area, and had beautiful views of the durian trees below. I highly recommend Nature Fruit Farm and will definitely visit again.

My most forgettable experience is Ben, the resort owner senior dog. He was my super hiking guide. He stopped by to greet other resort guest, Introduced me to special attraction spots along the trail such as future available new constructed resort rooms, prolific trees and more. He waited for me patiently to catch up when I was behind, sat down with a warm smiley face which was full of encouragement till I finished the trail. The other junior dog,Jerry guided my family in another hiking trip. Thank you Ben. You are such an awesome guide and intelligent dog. Note: The resort sells durian to hotel customers, but I think a bit over priced.

It was indeed a good place to stay with your friend or family. The room we stay is clean and tidy. Me and my friends do really enjoy the natural environment here. If you are a natural and durian lover, July to September is a good period for you to plan to visit here because the homestay is surrounded by many durian trees !! Definitely will come back to here again!

It was a pleasant stay for my family. If you are natural lover, you must come to try it. Highly recommended for family or group of friends for a short relaxation getaway. We went for hiking and cycling around Balik Pulau. It was a great experience for me and my relatives. If you would like to ask for more activities, just talk with Tan & Jenny, and they will try their best to help you.

The resort is in great design, blending between nature and local culture. Manage by local Penang, a very friendly MrTan, loves to chat and able to provide us every single travel details we needed in Penang. Good comfortable bed & clean bathroom. Although it’s not the durian season yet, but there is still plenty things to do. A hike to the top of hill in the morning, doing Yoga in nature, having a sip of coffee during the evening, playing around with the dogs, or even visit the local Goat farm.
