Our stay at the hotel was great. It was still going through renovations but the new product looks great. It going to look good when it is totally finished. The rooms where new and the service was excellent.

This hotel is in need of a complete upgrade, both structurally and with management. The building is settling resulting in our room door not securely closing and the floor making strange noises. The housekeeping staff did not respect guest privacy, making loud noises, laughing, and talking loudly. The breakfast area was not clean and the variety of food items extremely...

Update is in progress...I assume from the construction materials blocking the entry way (walkway)....but the hotel was dank and musty. Staff were friendly but not very professional. A shave and a haircut would go a long way...the next day...similar situation, but a woman...

First I'll say that the employees here are quite helpful and friendly. They are renovating different areas and it is looking better. There are things in the room that aren't really top notch, but just little things. You can tell it's aged and they're trying to put some lipstick on it. Overall it is quiet and clean and comfortable and...

We had a wonderful stay with our two boxers, one of which is handicapped. We called ahead to see if they could give us a room on the first floor. Unfortunately those rooms were under construction, but they said they could give us a room on the second floor on the end close to the stairs, and away from the...

We arrived early evening on Labor Day (probably around 6pm) and no one was anywhere to be found at the front desk. My husband went wondering around and found a man washing windows out near the pool area and had to ask if anyone was working the front desk. This man then came to check us in. Very odd! We...

Stayed here the night before our daughter started Berry College, which is only 10 to 15 minutes away. At this time there is renovation going on but it appears to be almost completed and didn't pose any problems for us. We arrived very late and I had called ahead to let them know and George, the night manager, went out...

Hotel was somewhat under construction the first floor was clean but unsecure because the side entrance was taped open for construction workers but left in this manner 24 hrs. a day. Did not feel safe. The second floor was gloomy and humid because the hallway window AC units were broken, this caused the room to also stay quite humid and...

“Go somewhere else. If you have to stay at the #7/16 hotels in Rome, aim for the top floor,3rd, and on the front side of the building. Make sure you are paying for and getting a full size room. Stay away form the noisy icemaker/cement mixer which shares space in the hallway with the almost as noisy elevator.”
