After long day of driving we wanted a place to spend a quiet night. The Flamingo was perfect. Right in the middle of town, clean, fun décor and could have listened to Jimmy Buffet the whole night as it was a Caribbean themed room. Lovely lady at the check in and she sent us to the perfect place to have... More

I've stayed here 3 times, once in 2012 and twice in the past week. It's a cute little place with everything you need for a good night's rest at a reasonable price. The room has a coffee maker, a small fridge, a TV, and really comfortable beds. We stayed in the Country Cottage room and really enjoyed it. It's the... More

We love this little motel and it's themed rooms. We always choose the Flamingo room because my partner has a fascination with those birds :). The owner is so nice, the rooms are comfortable and private, and the rates are reasonable. We've stayed there three times, on our way to and from Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. One time it... More

We were travelling as a family and needed two rooms - what fun! My husband and I had the Victorian Room and our son and my brother had the Golf Room . The rooms were very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and when was the last time you stayed in a motel where the bed vibrated! It was... More

This is my second trip to Coeur d'Alene in three years and I've now stayed at the Flamingo twice. This is a small little motel just past the strip which makes for a quiet night away from it all where we were for two nights. About a three minute walk to the action area of town. Art & Shelly are... The Flamingo is a nice, clean, comfortable motel with an excellent proximity to the downtown area. It is a short walk to restaurants, shops, and a very nice city park located on the lake. The afternoon/ evening we were there a farmer's market was on one street, and a couple of blocks away a very good band played in a... More

This was a fun, quirky stop for us. We stayed in the Americana room. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and it was clean. A big plus was the perfect location to downtown. Very easy walk to shops, restaurants, etc. The second big plus was the very reasonable rate. We would definitely stay again. The motel has a... More

Centrally located by downtown. Clean, well maintained and spotless (including the parking lot...not a drop of oil...absolutely spotless)!! The owner, Art, is friendly -- fun to talk with -- and a kick in the pants!!

Fantastic motel of a type that is fast disappearing. As you guessed from the picture this is a one story motel where you park in front, meaning no noise from above and no stairs. Room is spotless and very well maintained and each room has a theme. Everything is functional but a bit old so the maintenance is critical. Even... More

A amazing place, we had 9 rooms with 22 guests total. We were treated like kings and queens by Art (the owner) and given a full run of the place. Not one complaint from any of us. We will all be going again. Thanks again to Art
