This place is amazing! Francis and Dennis made my six year old son and I feel welcome and at home right away. They have been in the area for a long time so they had great recommendations for food, hiking, and activities. Sweet Willy is very comfortable and a lot of fun to stay in. My son had a great...

We are so glad you and your son enjoyed your stay making it worth the long drive. We do enjoy sharing area activities, restaurants & must-see places we think would be especially suitable and enjoyable for the particular interests of each guest. We hope you will visit again. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Frances & Dennis

I am a pet sitter, traveled all the way across the country to stay here, and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The place is quaint and quirky and odd and fabulous, Frances and Dennis (who run the place) are far and above the nicest people I have ever met in my life, there's a fun spot just down the street...

Here a pet-sitter can be kept safe, warm, as well as comfortably fed and entertained by a giant pet dog! We'll hope to see you again sometime.

After seeing the Dog Bark Park on television 5+ years ago, my partner and I finally had a chance to make the trip to Cottonwood. The hosts were kind, informative and very generous with treats for both people and dogs. Although we came for the unique experience of sleeping in a professionally built giant-Beagle, we found more. The hosts Frances...

Very cute, super clean and well-stocked mini kitchen area for self-serve breakfast. Very peaceful to sit on the deck at twilight watching the sun set over hills to the left and the moon come up over the hills to the right while cars periodically passed by on the highway below. Owners live next door as well as have a workshop...

We do think summer starry nights enjoyed from the 2nd story deck are fabulous experiences for savoring thoughts, conversation & the quietude of our prairie surroundings. Always good to know our guests feel similarly.

Sweet Willy was a delight to stay in his belly while my daughter slept in the snout. Sweet Willy didn't sneeze, thankfully. The fun bed facing the large picture window and it's view was beautiful. The owners. Frances and Dennis were a wealth of area knowledge. It was more than worth the out of the way trip it takes for most...

We admit the path to Dog Bark Park is indeed can be a long & winding one which makes us so glad you found it worth the extra effort to be cozy with your family in Idaho's big dog bed & breakfast guesthouse. Come explore more of Idaho when you can.

Since our kids read about the Dog Bark Park Inn in National Geographic Kids Magazine a few years back, we have been trying to get to Cottonwood, Idaho from Los Angeles to spend the night. We finally made it to Sweet Willy and it was a super pre-birthday experience for our kids. Frances and Dennis are so kind. We enjoyed...

That a nice family restaurant located but a 5 minute walk from Dog Bark Park makes getting a dinner meal an easy option. Some families order takeout enjoying a picnic-style meal right at the big dog. Beagle-opoly is the most played of the games & puzzles in the guest library. So glad your family visited.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and this was the perfect place to just relax! Cottonwood is a beautiful small town in Idaho, and staying in "Sweet Willy" was something to cross off the bucket list. I would love to stay again!

Located where town & country meet, many visitors enjoy the quiet, relaxed atmosphere here. Starry nights, birdsong in the morning, long views of the countryside & distant mountains can ease body & mind into peaceful relaxation. Glad to share this experience with you.

What a treat to stay here. Planned an entire trip in coming to see and stay with "Willy the dog". The unexpected treasure is talking with the owners, Frances and Dennis. They made us feel welcome with their hospitality. The accommodations are wonderful, and where else where you sleep inside a giant beagle? I encourage you to take their recommendations...

Taco Tuesday at the Keuterville Pub & Grub is a favorite for prairie folk and afar visitors if they happen to hear about this tasty local experience. Good fresh food, good company, good ale all make for a good time while visiting. We're glad to make local recommendations & connections; always good to know when we've scored a home run.

When guests make a stay with us a surprise for someone it is so much fun for us, too. We love to share smiles and hear the stories accompanying the reason for the surprise. We're happy to accommodate special requests for special occasions for such things as flowers, a bottle of wine, special gift for a youngster, etc.

We all enjoyed staying here. Our son loved everything about it. It was a surprise from his grandma for his 13th birthday. He slept in the nose and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. All the dog details everywhere (and the doggie gift shop) were great, including the doggie cookies waiting for us. We kept this a secret for months;...
