We have been 3 years straight and were first here in '02 under different operators and name. Physically, it is the most beautiful area you can imagine. A valley floor dotted with meadows and ponds and grazing horses, surrounded by the gorgeous coeur d'alene national forest full of ferns, pines, deer, elk, bear, rabbits, etc. Activities include wonderful horseback rides...

Thank you so much! It's been a wonderful summer with cooler temperatures so far and we've had some amazing clear skies. The ranch certainly looks wonderful this year and we keep being blessed by having some of the nicest families return to the ranch. We wish you a perfect summer and thank you again for trusting us with your family's...

We just returned from a fabulous, unplugged, week at RHMR. It was a family trip and there were 14 of us ranging in ages from 6 to 75. I can honestly say that I do not have even one criticism about our stay.....I tried to think of one....really I did...but I couldn't ! I mean come on...no place can be...

Again we had an awesome week and the families on the ranch were so much fun. Thank you Stephanie for all your very kind words! We love seeing our families absolutely tired and worn out when they head home from a fun-filled week at the ranch. We wish you a great summer and keep in touch!

When I first learned that my family was going to have a reunion at the Red Horse I was skeptical, traveling from Florida to Idaho and disconnecting from the world for a week seemed daunting. I looked through the reviews, went through the web site, and started to look at all the activities, started to get more excited. We flew...

Darren, we're so glad you and your family had a wonderful time at the ranch. I was glad to see you found out one of the secrets of Red Horse; an early morning cup of coffee on a deck watching the valley and the horses. One of my favorites at the ranch. And secondly, you touched on the staff. The...

We just finished our 3rd family vacation to Red Horse and I'm already looking forward to the 4th! I honestly don't know how to put in to words what makes this vacation so amazing but I'll try. The staff is phenomenal. They are personal, caring, accommodating, and truly act like they are having as much fun as you are! They...

Red Horse Mountain Ranch would love to take credit for such a wonderful week but we can't. The families last week at the ranch were so much fun. Constantly the ranch staff commented on how they love our guests! And I also think it's so important to have so many generations on the ranch at once. The grandparents being here...

My husband went with his 3 sons back in June, 2001. I just ran across the pictures and clearly it was a great experience for all. Good food, comfortable accomodations and lots to do. Even the photos they sent home (on disc) were labeled clearly, not just a clump of pictures. Details matter and this place has it covered. Now...

My two sisters and I spent Women’s Week at the RHMR this fall. To say that the experience and service were both outstanding would be an understatement. From being greeted by Andi and Ashley the first day to saying our goodbyes at the ranch, everything was perfect. We planned the week as a gift to ourselves after a few long...

What a wonderful week my granddaughter and I had last week at RHM Ranch! It was everything we anticipated--and more. Some activity to choose from every day, the food was excellent, the staff outstanding, the scenery there in the Bitterroot Mountain area of the Rockies magnificent, our Star Garnet cabin cozy and comfortable, guests and staff alike friendly, the weather...

My wife, friends and I visited the Ranch in 2012. We so much enjoyed the visit we returned for a second visit in September 2015. We weren't disappointed. The staff is as professional and fun as before. And the food is wonderful. If you've never ridden a horse they'll give you lessons. If you are an accomplished rider then you...
