Stayed one night on business. Close to a few good restaurants. Room was a mezzanine room - sofa area downstairs with bathroom then mezzanine floor with a very comfy bed. Slept really well! If I was going to Rome again I would stay here.

As others have stated this hotel is very charming and the room décor matches the structure to a T. It was a relief to escape the hustle and bustle of Venice. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony which was an added bonus. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower always had hot water. The...

This hotel has immense charm. The decoration is superb, beautiful furniture, paintings and antiques everywhere from the owners' collection, there is a really lovely atmosphere. It is so different from the average, standard hotel, I really look forward to returning for a longer stay and warmly recommend it.

An absolute beautiful and relaxing place to stay after two exhausting days of touring around Venice. We stayed in room #2, which has a very wide balcony over one of the courtyards. Room was comfortable and appeared very clean, and we slept very well. There are no bug screens on the windows and the cleaning staff would open the windows...

Don't visit if you want a modern hotel . This hotel doesn't appear to have changed since the 50's. Rooms are in need of refurbishment . There is a lack of staff which is especially frustrating when trying to get a drink from the bar in the evening. Lido is fine but this hotel is 15 minute walk from the...

This property is a blissful retreat after a hectic day in Venice battling the crowds. The location is peaceful and pretty, and the buildings and grounds beautifully kept. The staff are excellent. The rooms have antiques and cute retro bathrooms (1950's pale yellow tiles were delightful) and are very peaceful and comfortable. It is an easy, pleasant walk to the...

It was good for the price, but the bed was so uncomfortable. It was the usual two small beds stuffed together to make on big bed, but not in a way that was actually comfortable. You could really feel the difference between the two mattresses, as one seemed completely worn out. Almost a metaphor for the hotel. The restaurant staff...

This is a good hotel with a beautiful garden . I enjoyed walking everyday to the port to catch the ferry to Venice. Not too sure about the staff though, front desk person didn't really speak English and the porter was not friendly at all. We had to get up quite early in the morning to catch the 1st ferry...

This hotel is certainly quaint but is badly let down by its staff and poor facilities, combined with a slightly inconvenient location. I liked the fact that it is far from being a chain hotel and that it has unique features. However I doubt I will return to a place with largely indifferent staff and in-room facilities that are the...

This is a lovely boutique type hotel. Each room different. Ample size for Europe. Quite comfortable. The breakfast was very good with many choices for every appetite. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only down side of this hotel is the location. Quite a long walk to find dinner.
