My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Idaho City Hotel. The location is perfect as it is right in the middle of town and within walking distance to the restaurants and the bar. It is definitely an older hotel, but the amenities are great and it has some character! The owner was super helpful and even got us...

This was the perfect place for me and my family. We had the bunkhouse, which is in the back of the hotel, and quiet and private. My daughter was getting married at Gray Back Gulch a couple miles of Idaho City. My friend, niece and I stayed at the bunkhouse, 2 very comfortable queen beds , Microwave , refrigerator, and...

I pulled in about 9pm, and was met by the owner, and her mother. Both very friendly, and quick to get me to my room. The building is older, but VERY clean. The room had everything I needed, comfy queen bed, with free WIFI, direct TV, coffee maker, complimentary water. I asked the owner Cinda, if there was anyplace I...

Let's get right to the chase. There aren't many options in Idaho City for lodging but the Idaho City hotel is not too bad. The beds are firm, the rooms are a little on the small side, and the decor is western woodland animal motif. The toilet is one of the old-style tank above your head with a chain to...

Cinda is great, she is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is remodeled and very close to main street. We've been here a few times and we will keep coming back. Clean, Warm, and exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway! Loved it.

We stay here when we are visiting relatives. A cool old hotel that certainly reminds you of the "Yesteryear". I believe there are five rooms. The one we stay in is small but comfortable and quiet. The folks that run id are very nice and accommodating.

My wife and I plan to return to this hotel at least once a year because the lodging is a great complement to "The Springs" hot springs two miles down the road. This hotel (Cynda, the new owner is changing the name from "lodge" to "hotel" to better represent the establishment) was built in 1929 but the rooms have been...

The hotel (as the whole city does) has the true spirit of old America. Built in the 19th century, small rooms, squeaky floors, but clean and cosy. Very friendly hostess and true West hospitality. I'm glad I've been there. Best wishes from snowy Russia!

We have stayed here previously before they were on TripAdvisor. This time when I called the main hotel was full and a room called the "bunkhouse" was available. The bunkhouse is out in the backyard, has a queen bed and a smaller bed, maybe single size. The bathroom for it is detached- kinda different to get used to; I would...

This is a great period hotel from the late 1800/ early 1900s. The hotel is small, the rooms are small, the floors are uneven, the charm is Huge! Cynda, the staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. If you love a fun experience and love history you'll love the Idaho City Lodge. The whole town is a wonder of historic buildings...

“There was a hot tub in the backyard, ask when you call if it is in operation; I did not notice anyone using. If you get the bunk house bring a robe. The regular rooms have a shared refrigerator on the porch for use. Wrap around porch great for sitting and reading.”
