The room I stayed in was in dire need of fresh air. Opening a window on the parking lot side resulted in wafts of cigarette ash and the smell of cigarette butts. Ashtrays were located in between every two rooms. Permanent residents of the motel frequently smoked outside their rooms. Smoke found its way into the room every time the door was opened. Unfortunately, one window on the side of the motel opposite the ash trays was broken and did not open. The bathroom window was small and did not help much with air flow. This motel is okay for smokers looking for a cheap room, but non-smokers will have to tolerate the nasty smell. The office attendant seemed uninterested in being there to welcome guests. The bed was fine, but the pillows were old and flat. Combining all four pillows equated to one pillow. The walls are thin enough that you can hear snoring from the neighbor's room. Highway noise was also evident, but to be expected. The walk into town from the motel is short and easy.

It’s dirt cheap for a reason, it’s a dump. Slept in our ski cloths on top of the beds. Room on the 2nd floor, floors we saggy and squeaky with every step. Bathroom had mold imbedded in the seal around tub. Don’t bring the wife and kids, or girlfriend. Thought it would be a decent place to sleep and shower, didn’t do either. Couldn’t wait for daylight to get out.

This hotel would be just fine if it was clean. The lobby had a Sam Elliott kind of guy working the front desk. Seemed nice, cordial, smoky smells. The room itself was a little dated and small, like an older Motel 6, ok...I paid $45 including tax. I expect nothing more. My issue is cleanliness. The coffee pot had been used, but they didnt clean it, shower had grime on the bottom & it was deep heavy grime, I took lysol wipes to common areas, and it was a 50/50 shot if it needed more than one. Bed was comfortable enough which surprised me as it looks underwhelming. For this cheap you can provide little to nothing, but cleaning is a must.

This room was clean although sparse. It did have a nice microwave and mini-fridge, coffee pot and flat-screen TV. The mattress was comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. Needed a lamp though. The ceiling light was super bright and kind of annoying.

Decent enough place to stay heading cross country on the 90. Old, two story roadside motel that really feels its age. Air con is in a corner making it hard to cool the whole room. Mattress is old but clean and comfortable, as was the whole room. Amazing tv station options, though. Crappy wifi, but could have been my cell. Great price and a good night's sleep made it worthwhile.

First visit was good when we where there a yr ago and we got the rm we asked for. This last time very disappointed with this place. Called 3/4 weeks before visit asked for certain rm told no problem we could have it but at check in nope totally wrong rm not the rm we asked for. Get into rm.... which was upstairs when one we requested was downstairs...and ugh not as we recalled to first time. Went to turn tv nope not happening and the WiFi access code didn't work at all. After first hr to hr & half decided to go search out sites to pass time. When got back still no WiFi and husband asked bout tv issue which guy came to attempt to help told us will be right back needed to go talk to manager and never returned matter of fact no one came back to help. Husband watched the guy pack up his family into car and just leave. Rm was in need of very much some tlc to even be stayed in. Nevertheless we stayed one night only after paying for two nights.. yes I went got second night money back cuz wasn't gonna stay another night in this place. We will not be back to that place even if in need of a place we will make the best of staying situation even if have to stay in car for a night. This place will never get more of my hard earn money. I'm being very nice by giving one mark and that's cuz on phone they seem nice & willing to do what they can for guest. Pic is from rm...sad sad

Very reasonably priced, clean, comfortable room. he was very efficient and helpful. It was located conveniently to eating places. It had laundry machines available a few doors down. I was happy, I would recommend this place others, if you are not picky about little things.

The floors in the bathroom could have been cleaner but overall this was a comfortable room for the price. Amenities such as a refrigerator and coffee pot were included. There seems to be a lot of people living here and loitering about outside and it felt like we needed to be very careful about keeping everything locked up. Also, parking is an issue here. There are live ins taking up many of the spaces.

I should have believed the bad reviews, not the okay ones. Good: The price. It looked like the tub and toilet had been replaced recently. Bad: 1) Dirty. Dirt on the baseboards, dirt on the venetian blinds. 2) Smelled musty. That’s probably the carpet and bedspread. 3) When I was going to open the windows to let some fresh air in, I found that the window directly over the a/c unit did not have a handle to open it with. I could open the window n the bathroom, but there was no screen which meant bugs could get in. 4) One electrical outlet was missing the cover, leaving the wires exposed. Since we did not have a child or pet with us, and we have enough sense not to poke things into exposed outlets, we were safe. For some reason, things would not stay plugged in at another outlet so we didn’t use that one. 5) The bedspread had tears in it. 6. Upon turning back the covers at night, we found a spot of what looked like dried blood on the upper sheet. So, we didn’t get under the covers, just brought our own blankets from the car upstairs to the room. 7. The chain lock on the door was broken. 8. There is no peephole in the door. 9. Some of the towels had black marks on them, as if someone had used them to polish shoes. The towels smelled clean but looked dirty. One was threadbare, fit only for donation to the local animal shelter and/or use as a rag. 10. The room needs painting. 11. There were no hangers. 12. We couldn’t get the TV to change channels. Now, I will give them a pass on that, as there was a Direct TV truck parked in the lot and several cardboard boxes lying around, which makes me think they are just getting a new TV system installed. 13. There are 26 rooms but 17 parking spaces. 14. There was one tiny wastebasket, when two that size or one bigger wastebasket would have been better. 15. There was only one drinking cup. Suggestions to the owner, assuming he gets out of the chair and puts out the cigarette and actually reads this: 1) Clean the room, including the baseboards. Venetian blinds are a pain to keep clean, which is why most motels have pull drapes. Until new drapes are installed, take the time to clean the blinds. The easiest way I’ve found for mine at home is to take a clean sock, saturate it with a cleaner, put in on my hand like a glove, and go over every single slat. Yes, it’s a pain. 2) Short term: When you shampoo the carpets, which should be done several times a year for a motel, use a deodorizer. Wash the bedspreads. Long term: Remove the carpets and go with vinyl flooring, with a mat inside to catch the snow. Replace the bedspreads. 3) Fix the windows and put in a screen. 4) Replace the outlet cover – those are very cheap at a big box store, and I know there’s one of those nearby. 5) Replace the bedspread or patch the tears. 6) The housekeeping staff should inspect the sheets daily when they are taken to the laundry. If any stains are found, the stains should be pretreated before the sheet is washed and dried, as once the sheets go through the dryer the stain is set and very difficult to remove. 7) Replace the chain lock. 8) Replace the old doors with modern ones with peepholes. 9) Housekeeping should inspect the towels as they are taken to the laundry, and ones that can’t be completely cleaned should be replaced. 10) Paint. Probably best to do that before removing the carpet, then you won’t have to worry about getting paint on the new flooring. 11) Make sure there are hangers in the room. This is why most motels have those hangers that either don’t come off the bar at all or only have a knob on top which won’t work at home. 12) Make sure the TV works. 13) This might be more trouble than it’s worth, but if you could buy a nearby lot and use that for extra parking that would help. Maybe that’s what the concrete pad across the alley is for, but there was a garage sale taking up that space when we were there. 14) Put in a bigger wastebasket. 15) Be sure there are enough plastic cups for the maximum number of people allowed in the room. If the room holds two people, have two cups. If it holds four people, have four cups.

The rooms are kept reasonably clean but smells strongly of cigarette smoke. The carpet on the outside corridor upstairs , and the stairs are threadbare and apparently not been vaccumed/swept for months. The downstairs corridor are littered with cigarette butts which overflows to the edge of the car parking kerb. Surely a case of lazy housekeeping for anything/anywhere beyond the rooms.
