This is a very nice state park adjacent to Lake Walcott. You can fish, bird watch and go boating on the lake. There were a lot of paved paths to get from one place to another. A nice 18 hole disc golf coarse is available. You can purchase or borrow discs from the Welcome Center. The grass areas are green...

Our cabin was well kept and was up to date with a rustic atmosphere. Bunk beds were nice accompanied with a couch/bed. The park is very green with lots of shade. Lots of deer roam the park but scare off easily. Its the perfect place to camp and boat.

The lake is nice but the mosquitos can get pretty thick. The cost to reserve a site online is pretty steep but the nighlty fee is still lower than a lot of state...
