Wow! Talus Rock Retreat is a very unique experience! The entire Inn is very unique. Very private and well-appointed rooms. The innkeepers and excellent food also make it a very memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Talus Rock is a hidden gem! Beautiful property with a view that makes you want to do nothing other than sit in one of their comfy chairs, drink hot tea and chill. The hosts provide the privacy to do just that in addition to wonderful breakfasts, puppies to pet, and warm enlightened conversation. If you can get out of your...

Talus Rock Retreat is a spectacular venue for weddings and family gatherings! Could not have asked for a more beautiful location for our wedding. The hosts / inn keepers (Alex and Brian) were extremely accommodating and always kept us up to date during the planning process. We had family flying in from both sides of the country and everyone was...

Talus Rock greatly exceeded my expectations. It is a true oasis, beautifully decorated, cozy and warm. Alexandra arranged a wonderful massage that fit my schedule. It was so relaxing and nice. Most wonderful was I felt right at home with my hosts--like I was visiting friends. They were very welcoming and conversational but also provided me with space and created...

Talus Rock Luxury Lodging is truly a piece of heaven on earth. My husband and I had the blessing of staying the weekend at Talus Rock to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We have been through a lot together and needed a place to take a breath. I have been battling breast cancer since the end of 2014 . I...

We stayed for two nights at Talus Rock to celebrate my wife's birthday. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well-maintained and the house itself feels incredibly warm and inviting. We sat on the porch as three moose made their way to the pond adjacent to the house. We also explored Sandpoint during the days which is a very nice little...

We found this gem of a bed and breakfast online and it was everything it promised! The property was a wonderful oasis of peace, with wonderful views from the main room. Our room, the Kipling, was cozy and wonderfully decorated. Brian and Alex were wonderful hosts for our anniversary getaway. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace! Definitely a...

Gorgeous building. Friendly helpful staff, dogs and chickens. Very close to town but you feel as if you are in your own little world. I like supporting family businesses. This family goes out of it's way to support the local community, the veterinary community and does regular charity work outside of the country.

Sandpoint isn't the easiest town to navigate and this place took a bit of effort, but the reward was worth it. The first indication that this place was exceptional was the handcrafted front door. Seconds after that was the wonderful greeting from our host Heather who treated us as though we were friends she had been anticipating for months. At...
