My husband and I only were able to stay one night but let me tell you the room and whole house for that matter was just beautiful. Something out of a romance novel lol....and the owners are just amazing people! Over all if you have the means and possibility to stay at this amazing place even for just one night...

Talus Rock Retreat was an absolutely amazing experience. The house is gorgeous and provides for a beautiful, relaxing and private vacation. Heather is literally one of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and made sure to make our experience as great as possible. There is really something for everyone at this house and in Sandpoint....

This is unique in that it is the actual home of the owners, who live in the house when you are visiting, who go to hotels or other destinations depending upon how many visitors are staying. The rooms you are renting are the actual living accommodations of the family. Aside from the unique decor gathered from the family travels, you...

We called at the last minute. We received excellent customer service from Stephanie. She was very generous with her time and recommendations on what to do and where to go in Sandpoint - since it was our first time there.

We were there for our anniversary and it was also Easter weekend. Heather recommended (BTW, she knows what & where for everything in the area) the sunrise service on top of Schwietzer Mountain and it was gorgeous and great fun. Did I mention we're from Texas and were woefully unprepared for a frozen mountaintop. She was up sorting winter jackets,...

Words cannot describe the breath-taking beauty of the surroundings of Talis Rock Retreat. It was the perfect place for family (sisters) to hang out, spend time and celebrate family. Just walking minutes away from downtown Sandpoint, yet so secluded. We enjoyed every moment of our time at Talis Rock. Thank you so much Heather and Bruce for taking such good...

Heather and Bruce have thought of every detail in the breathtaking retreat that they have constructed over the past years. Talus Rock is the perfect place to relax and de-stess from the everyday stress of life. I can't wait to go back with the kids this summer and watch them play in the pond.

My husband and I desperately needed some time away from everyday life! The husband searched for hours trying to find us the perfect place...I decided I would help and we found Talus Rock...It was the most quiet and relaxing weekend we could ask for. Heather and the dogs were amazing! Thank you for the refreshing weekend!

The view is stunning and peaceful although only minutes from downtown Sandpoint. Heather, Bruce, and family and their assistant Stephanie invite you into their world, sharing their love of the area. Talus Rock Retreat is the perfect break from the face pace of everyday life. My fiance and I were ready for a much needed respite from our busy schedules and from the first time Heather and I spoke to our saying goodbye, it all was so easy. The property is nestled back in the trees, minutes from downtown Sandpoint. Gorgeous...
