My wife and I were taking a few days to celebrate life and marriage and we arrived pretty late in the evening near the restaurants closing. The staff quickly welcomed us, opening all our doors for us and even though they were beginning to close down, they were willing to prepare meals for us since we missed dinner. I had...

The Sun Valley Inn is a great place. So much history. I love it. First choice is the Lodge, but this is the next best thing. The staff is very helpful. It was a wonderful weekend!! Can't wait to go back.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, inviting and remodeled beautifully. The staff is top-notch and goes out of their way to provide impeccable service. Comfy bed and a spotless bathroom. The lounge and lobby are also warm and cozy. Loved this place.

We initially preferred to stay at the historic SunValley Lodge, but as they only had suites available that were over our budget, we opted for a deluxe room at its sister property, The Sun Valley Inn. We were elated when we were given a room with a huge balcony overlooking the lake, numerous flower beds and mountain scenery of this...

First off, the grounds and property are beautiful and meticulous with cobblestone paths and little streams running through. We are staying in a 2 bedroom in the Sawtooth building, close to the outdoor pool/hot tub and also the ice rink. We have a kitchen and large dining table and fire place. Couldn't be happier with the room and amenities. The...

The Inn is a lovely little hotel that has recently been updated, although it still has it's classic look and feel. The rooms vary drastically... from large and room to teeny-tiny, but all are very clean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our room was rather small, as was the bathroom, but it was very clean. We...

Located in easy reach of bike trails, spectacular mountain hikes, and wonderful restaurants & shops. Be sure to ask for a room that faces out to the pond. I found that the rooms facing the back of the hotel were often lacking sunlight.

Service was very good, the resort fee included excellent shuttle bus service from Hailey Airport, to & from Ketchum and around the resort. The local restaurant/bakery, Konditorei, was very good. The restaurant at Sun Valley Lodge, Gretchen's, was outstanding.

Last year I posted a review based on our stay in a Traditional Queen Room at the Inn. This year we upgraded to a King. The difference is substantial and in my opinion the king is worth the not insignificant difference in price. Without repeating my previous review, the Queen Room is TINY and cramped but the least expensive on...

There is nothing wrong with the ordinary rooms, but our room was small, there was no desk from which to use a computer (there was a small lamp table), and otherwise it seemed to be a good 1950s hotel. Service is good, although most of the staff are young people brought from eastern Europe or Central Asia with various amounts...
