The loby of this hotel is breathe taking. The location is close to Millenium Park and public transport. Surrounded by good selection of eating establishments. Rooms are spacious and given that the visit was ib January, well heated. You also have the option of your own temperature control.

We were in town for a youth volleyball tournament. One of the hotels in the tournament to choose from was the Palmer House Hilton. We found the price point very affordable for a block off of Michigan Ave. The hotel is old and historic, but very well maintained. The staff was amazing...took me 4 min to check in on a...

Love the old world decor and it's in a very convenient location for business travel. The rooms are a little on the small side, but they are adequate for a single or a couple. Minor fit and finish issues with the electrical outlets. The lobby is beautiful!

We had two rooms at the Palmer House Hilton for several days, including New Year’s Eve. Loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful, historical building. The location was great, with Millennium Park just a couple of blocks away. We also attended a show at the theater, which was a quick walk away. If you’re a shopper, Macy’s (Or...

We luckily got a room at the Palmer House on NYE for our 8pm showing of Hamilton. Took our daughter and had a perfect double room. 2 beds/2baths sitting area with 2 chairs. Beautiful hotel. Loved that the NYE crowds were kept out of elevator areas (we had a bracelet for ID). Perfect location across from the theatre. Hotel is...

From the moment you enter you are transported back in time. Elegance, history and quintessentially Chicago! This was my second stay at the Palmer House and I would absolutely return for a third. The bar is beautiful and does not disappoint. I am a huge fan of the fitness center, plenty of treadmills, weights and chilled towels after my work-out?...

If you don't like the corporate feeling of many hotels and want to experience a classic historic landmark, The Palmer House will fit you just fine. The hotel grand lobby has beautiful frescos in the towering ceiling that immediately let you know this is a special place. Here, you can sit and lounge or have a drink and feel the...

Location wise the hotel is OK, but I'd say that if you visit for tourism, better be north of the river, as there's more dining and bar options nearby. On Monroe, where the Palmer is located there's not much beside the Millenium Park a block away. But if only staying for an overnight like I did, the hotel was perfect....

This was a great experience for "un"experienced Chicago travelers. It was centrally located for most everything a tourist would want to do. Larger than I thought. But the hotel staff was AMAZING. Really amazing. Got what we asked for x10. When we go back - and we will - we will stay at this place! FYI - rooms smaller than...

Stayed at the hotel for a conference for which is was perfect. Palmer House is definitely a Chicago classic with a beautiful lounge/reception area. Check-in service was fine and helpful but a smile would be nice at times. Great location to explore the city. Room was nice and modern with nice views. Overall good experience.
