This place is fantastic, i stayed there this week for one night. It's really cheap for what it is, i payed $28 for a dorm room which i am guessing due to the time of year only had 2 others in it, one of whom was hardly there so it felt like a private room pretty much. It has a...

We had a six night stay in Chicago, so I looked for a place that was affordable and included a good breakfast. The main building was under construction, close to the end of the project. It looks very good so far! We stayed in the other building, first floor. It has a kitchen and sitting areas. Negatives: the floors being...

We LOVE this guest house! The price is student friendly, the location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very hospitable. This year we brought 30 students, community members, and faculty for a 3 day field trip to Chicago, and stayed at the Parthenon. Our University has been bringing students to the Parthenon for the...

We booked here because HI Hostel was full for Lollapaloza. This is a very tired building in need of basic maintenance. We got room 301, top floor: no reading lamps, mattress wrapped in plastic that made it hot to sleep, and weak A/C on 90+ degree days. Thin walls, doors that close badly, single-paned windows that let in outside noise...

Went for a weekend in Chicago to see the Coldplay concert. Stayed two nights in a private room. We chose this hostel because it was cheaper by ~$50-$100 to stay TWO nights here than ONE night in a hotel. Nothing extraordinary, but you get what you pay for. Room is simple with a nice, comfortable queen bed and three dressers....

I was there while at a conference for a week. The place has free generous buffet breakfast. the location is not too bad, close to public transports and some supermarkets. The place looks a bit strange but get use to it after a couple of nights. the wifi is not great, reachable in some places only. I have stayed in...

We stayed here 4 nights in a privat room with shared bathroom. The room was very small, we could barely fit our two normal size suitcases in there. The bathroom for girls was one big room with two showers and two toilet booths. The locks on the booths didn't work, and it was a bit weird that everybody could walk...

I stated here one night and probably would not stay here again unless I had no other choice. Well I would stay here over IHSP but thats about it. The room and the bathrooms were not bad and the restaurant next door was very good (although pricey even after the 10% discount) but the rest of the hostel and the...
