We have two night at Club Quarters Hotels at Wacker at Michigan in a Queen bed room. The location beside to the river is a center of the city within a couple miles to many attractive places Museums, Park, and so on so we have walked to all places. The room price was reasonable considering the location, valet parking will cost $53/night compared to public parking rate $59/night.

The easy part: Talk about central location! you are situated right here near the corner of Michigan and Wacker. You can easily walk to everywhere in the downtown loop and up Michigan Av. The Riverwalk is right outside your door. Staff extremely helpful when needing maintenance staff to fix a plumbing issue. They were there in minutes. The hard part: rooms are tiny and no micro or refrigerator in mine (some rooms have, some don't, apparently). Very slow elevators, inadequate to the needs of a high-rise hotel. Loading and unloading your car is done at the curb with your flashers on - can't stay here more than about 10 minutes. This hotel has a deal with a parking garage about 2 blocks away for $25 per night, which seems to be a good price.

Tom L - Thank you for providing us with feedback about your recent stay. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay overall! You are very correct about our location making it easy to walk to everywhere. We are very lucky to be located right in the heart of this beautiful city! In regards to the rooms, our Superior rooms and larger all come with microwaves and refrigerators. Only some of the two smaller room types have them but are happy to honor requests for them whenever available. We also have valet service available currently on Friday and Saturday in addition to the self park garage option for future stays. We hope to see you again next time you are in town!

Due to current Covid situation, there are few options for hotel stays in the Chicago Loop. This hotel exceeds my expectations of a 3star hotel. The hotel staff were exceptional, the property has a good location (for loop, streeterville/mag mile, and access to public transport. Clean rooms, lots of power outlets at desk/workstation and bedside, good Wifi, Smart TVs, chilled/purified refillable water stations, and yoga mats and humidifiers upon request. Normally I don't use hotel room coffee makers but the Keurig was spotless and enjoyed my Kona coffee in the room. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but located near many, including a bakery next door serving breakfasts and lunches. I intend to return

Traveled with a friend and expected a typical two bed room, but instead was delighted to have two separate areas in one, giving each of us some privacy. Each side had its own bathroom and closet as well as sitting area. One side had a desk while the other had a lounge chair. The hotel is on the boutique side- not large and not new, but everything was spotless. The entire staff was most accommodating, and the location is amazing- just steps to Michigan Ave. We could walk to many shops and restaurants.

This was supposed to be a nice stay but lacking. They said the restaurant was closed for renovation but there was an advert outside for new occupants so I see that as a lie. This was my main frustration as there was no room service or ability to get food to the door when I was jet lagged and working long hours - if they hadn’t blatantly lied it might be better on the overall impression. I was told I could order food and come down and get it, from where I don’t know. Soft drinks in the club area were warm. The buttons in one of the elevators were dodgy. No toilet brush in the rooms, low quality soap and disposables. Only option to purchase refreshments was really complicated despite a lot of staff standing around downstairs. The staff were all nice on the plus side and tried their best but the management of this place is bad. The club area for business also played loud music constantly so you can’t work there if you need to concentrate, ended up heading back to the room which was small

I stayed there 9 nights and had a great time. The Hotel is located just in the middle of everything. I had a fantastic view from my window, room was nice and clean. Coffee, tea and soft drinks 24/7. Fridge and microwave in every room. Staff is all lovely, very helpful. When you are traveling from O'Hare you can take the blue line to State/Clark for only 3 $, the trip takes 50 minutes, then walk 8 minutes along the river. When you are looking for a nice meal, fresh and healthy food, go to 'Bockwinkel's" supermarket, just around the corner, behind the Hyatt - loved it!

I want to begin my review by saying yes, the CQ rooms are on the small side. That seems to be a topic of discussion for lower star reviews. For me and my boyfriend, it wasn't an issue: the room and hotel had everything we needed, and our stay was amazing!

The building itself is beautiful, with lots of cool artwork. Leo put us in a room with a gorgeous view of the river, on a higher floor. The elevators are quick. The rooms have little Keurig machines, and there's a bottled water station right off the elevator. The second floor lounge is a coffee-lover's delight: their coffee machine creates anything your heart could desire, at any time of the day or night! There are lots of separated areas to sit and work if needed, with a wireless printer that worked great. I had an unexpected work issue come up. Pedro at the front desk was so helpful, and because of that I was able to get everything taken care of quickly.

The location. Oh, the location! It's close to everything! There was always someone available to help with questions, to offer suggestions on where to go/what to do, and the staff really seemed to enjoy being there. They were fantastic.

If you're looking for a great place to rest your head (the bed was soooooo comfy!) along with a central location to shop/sightsee/eat, and a staff who really care about the needs of their customers, this place is your place. Loved it!

Club Quarters Hotel is a very convenient location to really enjoy downtown Chicago. It is right next to the river walk and Michigan Ave (Gold Coast/ Magnificent Mile) and just two blocks from State Street. Just outside of the hotel it is convenient to take Chicago River boat tours.
While the room was not large it did have what we needed for our stay of three nights. Steps had been taken that it was sanitized and the elevators labeled to limit passengers for COVID19 precautions. Overall we enjoyed the convenience to be able to walk to many areas of interest.

We paid a higher fee for booking the kitchenette room as we wanted to have some simple meals in the room. However, the “kitchenette” was nothing more than a small fridge and tiny microwave. There was no cutlery, no dishes, no containers to prepare food in the microwave in, nothing. The staff said they would send up plastic cutlery but none ever arrived. In addition, the room was in need of a good cleaning. There was a fair amount of hair visible in the bathroom from the previous occupant, socks under the bed, and a vape canister between the bed and bedside table.

On a positive note, the location was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from our room was spectacular.

My girlfriend and I wanted to spend a day/night in Chicago on our way to down to a wedding in Indiana and were very pleased with our visit! Everyone there was very accommodating to any request or questions we had during our short stay. The price was very affordable as well! Couldn't believe we were able to get a room for less than $100 especially with the hotel being in such a prime downtown location! We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to check out like Millennium Park and Billy Goat Tavern just to name a few. The hotel is located right next to the Chicago River which our room had a terrific view of. The rooms aren't the biggest but but that didn't bother us since we were just spending a single night there but you still have all the essentials you'd want in a room anyway. I was also pleasantly surprised that our TV had streaming options to cast Netflix or HBO in addition to cable which was super nice. I was so looking forward to this trip before we arrived and this place did not disappoint and really helped make our one day Chicago visit a very memorable one. Can't wait to come back!
