Great experience, customer service and comfort from beginning to end. The room came with a nice view, was quiet and roomy. This hotel is in a great location because there’s so many dining and nightlife options within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and are interested in visiting the rooftop during the Summer.

Very friendly and welcoming staff and very well looked after. The management clearly know how to run a quality hotel. Breakfast buffet was nice, hot and fresh. Dinner was fantastic. Room was perfect. I would stay here again, there is nothing negative I could say.

Loved the location and walking distance to everything. Will definitely go back to enjoy more of the hotel and the surrounding area. Wish they had a better late check out policy especially for loyalty customers.

One thing to note that I may have not added. With World of Hyatt membership, there are 4 main tiers that are achieved based on the number of nights stayed with Hyatt annually. At 10 nights you would enter Discoverist status which has many additional benefits one being at 2pm checkout when available. This is something most Hyatt hotels will honor including us. Convenient to the event. Beautiful new hotel. We told many people about this hotel. They did not realize there was a new hotel in Wicker Park. Everyone asked where the hotel was. We had a great time and would stay there again!

Hall was very noisy. the door next to me slammed. late at night and during the nights. breakfast was strange, no chaffing dishes but a cooktop with dutch ovens that required you to move each lid to see the contents and to serve. one at a time. not well thought out. street noise also bad on the 4th floor. noisy all night. I was scheduled for another night but it was too noisy at night.

Dear Gplankell, I am really sorry for all the noise issues you experienced during your stay and do hope you accept my apology. I will bring up the Dutch ovens in our next management meeting and see if there are any other suggestions as far as what could be used to ensure food is kept piping hot yet more convenient to get to. If you're in the Wicker Park area of Chicago, this is a great place to stay. Rooms are large, free breakfast with lots of options, wonderful staff! They really make you feel comfortable and welcome. Convenient location too!

Very nice place with exceptual appointments. Very modern, clean, and lots of room. Extra large TV. Nice to have a couch to lounge in. Could use a few more blankets for those seem like cold nights. Quite from the otherside noise! Will be back to visit.

Please don't pick this hotel if you want a good night's sleep. I have stayed at this location twice now and probably should have learned from my first stay, but thought I'd give it another try. The first stay I had a room on the 8th floor. It sounded like there was running water from someone taking a shower all night long. This most recent stay I was on the 6th floor, but this time their sounded like a small engine rumbling all night long next to the bed. I guess the fact that they leave earplugs next to the bench is a sign that they know about the noise problem and disguise it as "street" noise instead of trying to fix their HVAC system, which I believe is the cause of the room noise.

Dear Mr. Vansledright, Thank you for providing this feedback. I do apologize you were not satisfied with your stay. I did look into this rooms records for any indication of a malfunction. While nothing was found, we are now having maintenance review and inspect this unit. I'm a bit disheartened that service was also not received well. We do make every attempt to care for our guests and am sorry you felt we let you down. Regarding earplugs, these are simply placed in each room as being on a busy corner in the city lends itself to more noise than one would find in the suburbs. No complications whatsoever. Overall stay was pleasant. Only issue I ran into was having to reset my entry card. I will most definitely recommend this stay to someone else as well as coming back to stay!

Our go-to when visiting family in the area. 👍 Clean accommodations and courteous staff. Although I think they started closing the Kennedy Rooftop bar a little earlier (came in at 11 and wanted a nightcap, but bar was already broken down) or perhaps just seasonal hours?
