I've stayed several times at The Peninsula in Chicago and it is always a lovely experience. The service is superb. Everyone is thorough, thoughtful and enthusiastic. This is true throughout the hotel. The restaurants are very good. I especially like the restaurant called, I believe, The Lobby. The food is well done, both tasty and beautiful. If I ask for...

We upgraded to a Grand Deluxe room. Large room with a desk & sofa. City view. Small dressing area. Huge bathroom with TV at the end of the bath. Large tv which swings out so you can watch from your large comfortable bed. Very very clean. Lots of nice touches such as a personalised welcome card with chocolates in the...

My room (925) was large, comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently laid out. I was on the 9th floor. Sound insulation was good. I could hardly hear any noise from the street, and I never heard any noise from other rooms or the corridor. The free wi-fi stayed connected the whole time, which is good. In many hotels, you have to...

The user friendly smart electronic rooms are spacious, cheerful and comfortably decorated. The staff was outstanding and the true jewel of this...

The hotel is ideally located in the shopping mile of Chicago. Reception was friendly and moved me to a room with a nice view on my request. The rooms are nicely furnished and service is friendly. Food was great even though breakfast is quite expensive. Nice pool on the 20th floor, excellent gym, spa zone could be a bit bigger....

Had a chance to stay here 2 nights with my wife. The hotel is perfectly located in downtown Chicago, with excellent access to Michigan Ave., major landmarks and restaurants. Entry is on the street level and a short elevator ride is required to reach the lobby. The lobby, waiting and eating areas have a very "grand" feeling - large and...

A plush hotel with service to match. Amongst its offerings is a beautiful dining/breakfast room. It also feels on a human scale which is hard to achieve in a large hotel of this kind. I was on business, but would stay her as a tourist too, which is a good test of a place. It's in a pleasant, cenral location...

I stayed at The Penninsula for two nights to attend a meeting. Fortunately the company sponsoring the meeting paid for my room as I expect it was quite expensive. The Penninsula offers a true upscale experience. Besides a great location right off the Magnificent Mile (next door to Saks 5th Avenue and across Michigan Avenue from Neiman Marcus), this hotel...
