Super friendly and accommodating service, we felt very welcome. Eclectic place with all kinds of unique decorating and collections throughout the property. Breakfast was outstanding and fast. (I popped out before they were serving breakfast and got some coffee too). I recommend that you stay here as an alternative to standard area hotels. We had fun exploring the neighborhood. Lots...

We have stayed at Rays several times. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and the location is great! Love the heated bathroom floors! The breakfasts are excellent!! We will definitely continue to stay at Ray's!

Ray's is everything you expect from a good B&B, and much more that makes a stay at Ray's a fun and unique experience. My wife and I spent two nights at Ray's while visiting our son in Chicago. We found Ray's while searching for lodging closer to his neighborhood, and we are so glad we did. If you are reading...

This is really kind of a magical place, unlike any my wife and I have been to. Can't say enough good things about it. Thank you to the staff and to Ray for their hospitality and for creating such a one-of-a-kind place.

Ray's is as good as it gets. From their fabulous breakfasts, wonderful rooms, great staff and incorporated "concierge" (they don't call it that, but it is) service, I cannot imagine spending time in Chicago without being at Ray's! I've never had a request turned down, and been offered things I didn't even know I wanted. Ray is always around, and...

Every November I attend a large medical conference and have been staying at Ray's for the last 10 years and Love it!!! Their breakfast is prepared just for you and is the best of any B&Bs I stay in throughout the country. Ray and his staff make you feel comfortable. The steam and sauna are the perfect end to a...

We booked Ray's as we were visiting a good friend who lives in the Bucktown area of Chicago. She mentioned that there were really no hotels near her, but we did some searching and found Ray's! A few blocks from her. We are so glad we did! It made our visit much easier, but we also just loved staying here!...

Ray’s is an interesting and worthwhile alternative to the downtown hotel experience. It is located on a quiet residential street in Bucktown in two converted houses. The emphasis is on comfort not elegance. We stayed in the Chickadee Room on the first floor and therefore, except for the entrance steps, there were no steps to get to the room. The...

Not your typical B and B but that is what makes this a cut above. Eclectic decor in the public spaces were a feast for the eyes and added to the light atmosphere. The made to order breakfast were among the best I have had at a B & B. Ray is the consummate host and made great recommendations for...

Ray's Bucktown Bed and Breakfast offers three feasts at once: for the tummy (culinary creativity every single day), for the eyes (a stupendous collection of antiques and photographs), and, above all, for the heart: the friendliest atmosphere one could ask for anywhere. Every guest is offered an equal affection and respect. We have repeated our stays over and over!
