We stumbled on to Rays while looking for a place to stay near our son's new apartment in Bucktown. What a great find! This isn't your usual B & B. Not Victorian or stuff. Eclectic decor and modern amenities. We stayed in the Flamingo room. It is on the smaller size, but the first floor location is great and it...

Ray Reiss is one of the most accommodating, unassuming and lovely hosts I've ever encountered. His B&B provided a true refuge for our family as our Chicago home was being renovated. For close to a month, Ray and his wonderful team made us feel right at home - which isn't easy when you've got small children. The kids had a...

Staying at Ray's is like being a welcomed guest in a friend's house. The location is great (lots of restaurants, bars, and the Blue Line are within easy walking distance), the parking is free, the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the accommodations are comfortable and clean. This was our first time staying at...

Marvelous location, free parking, short walk to the L. Eclectic decor; fascinating host (away on a birding trip, unfortunately, throughout our 3-night stay). The staff are superb, and are interesting individuals themselves. The breakfasts are to die for - and we even got to invite Chicago-based daughter's family to join us for one! We visit Chicago often and will always...

Ray's is just a wonderful B&B- we loved the outstanding breakfasts and service on our recent visits to Chicago. (We stayed two nights, moved on, then returned for two more nights.) All staff and workers who greeted us and served us there were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served until 11 AM, at a time you request, and they...

My family and I loved everything about Ray's. First, we loved the neighborhood. It was a nice choice to stay outside of downtown Chicago and get to know another area of the city while we were there. Ray was very accommating and even recommended a local pizza joint which turned out to be not only our first meal in Chicago...

Found this fantastic B&B last minute, absolutely loved everything about it from the out-of-this-world breakfast made to order to the unique decor and vibe. Ray, Sarah, and everybody we encountered were extremely helfpul and accommodating. Best part of the whole trip! Very convenient to get to from O'Hare, just a 10 minute walk from the Blue Line.

We stayed at Ray's Bucktown B&B for 4 nights while I wrote an exam in Chicago. We also made a little trip out of it. The property itself is located a 10 minute brisk walk from Western-O'Hare Blue Line station (15 minute relaxed walk). It's in a beautiful, safe neighbourhood. We stayed in the Cardinal Room with a private bathroom...

We just returned from a 5 day stay in Chicago visiting our daughter. She found Ray's B&B online for us and what a find it was! The location is great (both bus and blue line within short walking distance), the staff was very friendly and breakfast was heavenly. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest and the only complaint these country...

We just returned from a weekend in Chicago visiting our daughter and stayed at Ray's for the first time. We will definitely be back! This was our first b&b stay - it was better than we expected. It was very easy to find - right off I-94. The owner (Ray) and all the staff really extend themselves to you and...
