Found this fantastic B&B last minute, absolutely loved everything about it from the out-of-this-world breakfast made to order to the unique decor and vibe. Ray, Sarah, and everybody we encountered were extremely helfpul and accommodating. Best part of the whole trip! Very convenient to get to from O'Hare, just a 10 minute walk from the Blue Line.

We stayed at Ray's Bucktown B&B for 4 nights while I wrote an exam in Chicago. We also made a little trip out of it. The property itself is located a 10 minute brisk walk from Western-O'Hare Blue Line station (15 minute relaxed walk). It's in a beautiful, safe neighbourhood. We stayed in the Cardinal Room with a private bathroom... More

We just returned from a 5 day stay in Chicago visiting our daughter. She found Ray's B&B online for us and what a find it was! The location is great (both bus and blue line within short walking distance), the staff was very friendly and breakfast was heavenly. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest and the only complaint these country... More

We just returned from a weekend in Chicago visiting our daughter and stayed at Ray's for the first time. We will definitely be back! This was our first b&b stay - it was better than we expected. It was very easy to find - right off I-94. The owner (Ray) and all the staff really extend themselves to you and... More

We needed a place to get away from our normal crazy life and this was perfect. I love to stay at B&B but my boyfriend had never stayed at one. So for him he was a little spectacle about the whole experience. He ended up loving it just like me. They make their breakfast from scratch which made the whole... More

If we have a chance to visit Chicago again, we would definitely stay at Ray's. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfasts scrumptious, and the quiet neighborhood was a pleasant place to stay.

This was one of the best finds ever!! Rays Bed and Breakfast is a quaint b & b in Bucktown.....about 5 mins away from downtown Chicago. It was easy to find, free on street parking, great service, and amazing food!!! The location is great, with tons of shopping and restaurants within blocks. The two gals who were working ( Rachel... We just got back from a quick one night stay at Ray's, so I thought I'd pop in here to review the place for you. Our stay at Ray's, in three words, was relaxing and memorable. When we first arrived, there were no staff on hand to check us in, but as we had been given a heads up that... More

Ray's was fantastic. We stayed in one of the Annex rooms, which was great for us as we were staying for sometime and liked having our own space so that we could get a feel for what it would be like to live in Chicago. Ray and his staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a... More

Ray's was a delightful, quirky surprise. Good location, friendly host/owner, comfortable room, and a fabulous breakfast that begins with an "appetizer board" and continues with made-to-order entrees selected from a two-page menu that awaits guests at the expansive kitchen table. I wish we'd had more time to wander the house and study Ray's eclectic collections, beautifully displayed and ranging from... More
