Thank you Molly! I do my best to make everything as easy-breezy as possible. Chicago is a big city and with such a short stay there's no time to waste trying to figure stuff out, right?! Glad you appreciated it! And yes--come back soon! There's...More
Staying in the Addison Suite on Newport Avenue made our Chicago visit so memorable. We absolutely loved the neighborhood and tried several restaurants Teri recommended, all were excellent. We used local transportation including renting bikes from the kiosks and a lot of walking. The home...More

Overall a perfect stay---that's wonderful to hear! If you like how everyone gets in the spirit of things at Halloween, you should see it at Christmas!
And how nice to be able to ride bikes in October--the weather couldn't be nicer. Let's hope it stays...More

It is such a great neighborhood---bet you did a lot of Christmas shopping on Southport Ave! And yes the perfect place for such a large family; so much fun you must have had! Hopefully you'll return again soon!
We stayed in the Chicago Guest House for a week. The house is very well stocked. Great location. Everything is easily within walking distance. The trains are close. Getting downtown is very easy. Very quiet street. Teri was a great host.

Thank you for the post!! Yes---a great location--Walk to Everything! Wonderful restaurants, unique boutiques and shops, live music and entertainment.... The Wrigleyville / Lakeview neighborhood is "All that and a bag of chips!' ha!
Come back soon!
This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a
Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
