We stayed for a long weekend in the Cape Cod room, which is I believe the smallest -- and it was fine. The breakfast was good - plenty of fruit, yogurt, pastries, plus oatmeal, granola bars and cereal ... and there was always something available even past the published b'fast hours. Tea always available as well. The manager/innkeeper was friendly...

Thought the room was reasonably priced as a studio apt. there is a caution regarding the train, but that really was not an issue. I liked the room because it was more spacious than just a bed and bath. A nice touch might be a high seated table and two accompanying chairs. Had a little trouble deciphering the television code....

So glad you enjoyed the Blue Line Studio. We'll work on improving our television instructions. We have a round table and chairs tucked in the studio but may consider a high top instead. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you want to get out of downtown Chicago and experience a little bit of the "real" Chicago, other than the Magnificent Mile, this may be a great option. My son and I were looking for somewhere with easy access to the Loop and Wrigley Field but not in the mess of the core. The Wicker Park Inn offers excellent...

Stayed in the Garden Apartment across the street from the actual B&B. This doesn't include breakfast which was fine since there are so many great restaurants close by. It was great having a kitchen just to have coffee before heading out and the room itself was roomy and cute. It is important to note that there was a step down...

Happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our Garden Apartment. It is a lower level unit that does include some inconvenient steps. We generally point these out during check in so guests are aware. Glad you enjoyed the neighborhood and we hope to host you again.

We booked the Tuscan Room at the Wicker Park Inn over the July 4th weekend. We loved this quaint room with a private entrance and bath. The daybed was also nice to relax on. Robin, the Innkeeper, was very helpful with suggestions and knows the area quite well. We will stay here again!

The Inn is very clean and spacious. Emily, our host, was very welcoming, helpful and gave us some restaurant recommendations. Our room (Wicker Park room) was clean, well maintained, with an in-room BR/shower and queen bed, desk, lounge chair, wardrobe and TV (we never turned it on). Check-in and payment was easy. After check-out the next day we could store...

The Blue Line room was perfect for us and our trip. It was just the right space for the nights we were there and perfectly located to get to downtown and surrounding areas. The room was clean and well furnished and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and got us setup quickly in...

The Garden Apartment is located on a beautiful, tree lined street with gardens in front of all the residences. Our apartment was comfortable and private. The el is located very close, but we never heard a train unless we were listening for one. A walk to coffee, good food and fine shops is so close over on Milwaukee Ave. The...
