No pool, shoddy elevators and the bathroom is for kids not normal adult size people. Water pressure is more like a gentle rain and hot water fluctuates at random. Staff is great though always helpful with getting a ride when needed.
The Essex has a great location and reasonable rates. However, it's just an OK hotel, mostly due to a lack of polish on a few things.
