Booked a room online and was assured room with a view of the river. The view was actually a room of another room and a roof top; however, after a quick trip back down stair the staff was very accommodating. Love Chicago, always fun, but almost always in excess (think that's my fault), but no worries, hope to hit it...

There seem to be a lot of recent complaints regarding the current construction in the lobby area. I just stayed there and while there were some work-arounds, they really didn't present any problems. Staff was fine, and the room was really nice. It helped that I had a recently renovated room, and it really helped that I was upgraded to...

Ken - We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your renovated room! All of our rooms have received a much needed freshening up with new furnishings and decor but our club rooms in particular have undergone a wonderful transformation. We do appreciate the feedback in regards to our fitness center and have shared this with appropriate team members. We look...

To be fair they are in the middle of a renovation, but I'm not sure that it will be enough to get the 5 stars you expect for a Renaissance hotel. Day 1 was 65 degrees outside and the room was hot, too hot to sleep. Day 2 was 35F and the room was still too hot. They told me...

Currently under construction however, we never heard anything and it was not an inconvenience at all. Stayed on the 16th floor with beautiful views of the river and the city. Nice, clean hotel right on the river. Close to good food and plenty of things to do at your fingertips. We traveled here for St. Patricks day festivities, we had front row access for everything. Mellenium park is a few block walk, Michigan ave. 2 blocks and many really good resturants are a short walk. we parked our car on...

Stayed here over St Patrick's weekend with my daughter and some friends, and we had an excellent time. I was a bit hesitant to book being the hotel is under construction. However, the positive posts helped make my decision and it worked out fine. I selected this hotel due to the location as we were hoping to catch the parade...

So. It's a Marriott in the center of Chicago, which gives one a certain set of expectations. Mine weren't exactly met. I stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds. That means this room is intended to sleep 4 comfortably--and we booked with the information there would be 4 adult guests. Why on EARTH would this room only have 3...

I stayed here about 5 months ago, so things might be better. This is another tweener for me. I would like to 3.5 it but I can't. The lobby is well situated and has a decent restaurant. The current renovation is a bit of a bummer, but we were forewarned. The hotel is centrally located, clean, well-organized, and room service is very quick to turn around in room dining.
