Nice hotel. Mini bar, fridge, keurig, comfy bed, really nice shower. Room isn't huge but still nice. Bell man helpful & stored our bags . Able to check in early. Promot service when called for more towels. Location is good. Easy access to attractions.

We got a very good offer on Millinium Knickerbocker through their own website and decided despite mixed reviews here to give it a try. At the price we got ($120 a night) for 5 nights, we definitely did not regret our choice. Overall: This is an old but still very beautiful hotel in downtown Chicago. If you want to explore...

Great location on the northern end of Michigan Ave at Walton. King room is very small and no bathtub, small window overlooking Walton. Hotel was built in the 1920's thus the small room, limited elevators and elevators that hold a max of 6 people. Large furniture in a small room just doesn't work. Would stay elsewhere next time. Professional staff.

First, the hotel reservation was made on the phone. The man helping me make a decision was extremely helpful in looking for any and all discounts possible. Then he made sure to make note that we were visiting for my husband's birthday. When we checked in, the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. She upgraded us without us asking,...

We stay in Chicago a few times per year and this is the first time my wife and I stayed at this hotel. We really loved it. It was built in the 1920's and has some history with Al Capone. Every Friday they offer a free tour explaining the history of the hotel but we missed that. The rooms have...

Hotel is convenient to the mile and we did a lot of walking. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good (eggs benedict both mornings). Everything was fine, except I HATE it when hotels charge me for to go cup of coffee in the morning.. I spent $160 in the bar and restaurant over the two nights three days we...

Stayed at the Knickerbocker over Thanksgiving weekend. My second time staying at this property and it didn't disappoint. Comfy beds and nice bathroom. Great location right off The Mile. We did tons of walking and it was nice to fall into a comfy bed at the end of a busy day! Our room location was super quiet and we never...

Perfect location at the north end of the magnificent mile, but still only a block from the Water TowerMall. I loved the decor and style of this hotel. The rooms were quite spacious, clean modern and a large bathroom shower. Unfortunately only one of the three elevators was working on the day we stayed there, but I've waited longer in...

Its all about the location for the shopping buff - right off North Michigan Ave. Also convenient for the business traveller with convenience shops and restaurants all nearby. The Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel is a charming hotel conveniently located less then one block east of N. Michigan Avenue. Upon entering the hotel there is a cocktail lounge to one side and to the other side of the lobby is the hotel's restaurant, Nix which serves food for breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend Nix for their wonderful breakfast's. The...

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
