Although I felt everything was clean, the place could use some freshening up and updating. It smelled old in my room and my pillows were pretty flat. Pleasant and helpful front desk. Continental breakfast was ok enough to get my day started. Yolk Restaurant was...More
My group of four people stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The location of the hotel is convenient, close to restaurants and public transportation. We used exclusively Uber or Lyft that costs about $12 to get to downtown in 15 minutes. The hotel is...More
Hotel was located conveniently to restaurants, shops, less than a mile walk to Wrigley Field. Hotel was older, but very clean, rooms were small, but again very clean. Ours had a microwave and refrigerator. Continental breakfast was decent. Front desk staff were friendly and very...More
Surprising and reasonably priced. This is an old hotel with everything that implies: a little ragged in parts, but impeccably clean and well maintained. Location is key. Handy to all of Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville. Pay to park, but unlimited in and out privileges. It's...More
I booked this hotel way in advance for the Billy Joel concert because I wanted to be able to walk back to hotel instead of getting on train.
At first I did not look at my reservation, my fault, and went to the Hotel Lincoln...More

Head to the North Side of Chicago for a stroll through one of the city’s greenest neighborhoods. Lincoln Park boasts over 1200 acres of green space complete with a free zoo open to visitors year-round. This pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is lined with parks, row homes, boutiques, taverns, and nature. Lincoln Park itself borders the lakefront area offering peaceful views of the water and the Chicago skyline.
The Lincoln Park Conservatory is one of the most popular attractions in the area, with the Chicago History Museum a close second. Armitage Avenue is where you’ll find great shopping from high-end retailers and small boutiques, whereas Clark Street houses cafes and restaurants. For more highbrow entertainment, walk along Lincoln Avenue to find some of Chicago’s finer museums and theaters.

I doubt the inn has that set up, maybe two rooms side by side, but the rooms at the inn are small. We stayed at the Hilton Oak brook terrace when moving our son to Lincoln Park. It is about a 30 minute ride in, by car or train, and the train stop is close by. Also a large mall with shops and restaurants is situated behind the hotel and it sits right next door to the Drury Lane Theater. Rooms and bathroom are large, 2 queen in one room, separated by a door, and pull out sofa, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, in other room, very roomy. Two TV's, and a separate shower stall and bath tub. Also, indoor pool, lounge and buffet breakfast for a fee. However, if you buy the breakfast package, I think it is only 20 xtra dollars, and all in your room eat free. Driving in early on a weekend, traffic is not bad (rush hour week day would be bad.) Also, parking spots turn over frequently in Lincoln park, and are time limited, so we had no problem stopping for food or shopping, and welcomed the retreat back to Oakbrook Terrace from the city.
