Staff here are helpful. Rooms clean and ordinary. Pleasant breakfast room with donuts and coffee. Handy mini fridge and microwave in the room. Some vintage charm in the public areas. Great location a ten minute walk to Diversey Station and straight into town on the...More
We were looking for something affordable for a quick overnight stay and found this hotel. If is right off of Clark on Diversey. The front desk person was very nice. The Inn is very old and quirky. However, our room was extremely clean and served...More
I never write bad reviews, but this one was for the books. I stayed in mid-October, and the heat in the hotel wasn't yet turned on. I called the front desk after about an hour of shivering trying to sleep. The hotel manager brought me...More
I have debated as to whether to write a review or not. The location is great, the staff are friendly and there is off street parking but..... this is an `ex' hotel well past its glory days, and in my opinion overpriced. I have stayed...More
The reviews of this place are very mixed, so we weren't sure what kind of experience we would get, but this place deserves more than it's two stars. The building is old, but they don't hide that, and it adds to the charm, as the...More

I doubt the inn has that set up, maybe two rooms side by side, but the rooms at the inn are small. We stayed at the Hilton Oak brook terrace when moving our son to Lincoln Park. It is about a 30 minute ride in, by car or train, and the train stop is close by. Also a large mall with shops and restaurants is situated behind the hotel and it sits right next door to the Drury Lane Theater. Rooms and bathroom are large, 2 queen in one room, separated by a door, and pull out sofa, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, in other room, very roomy. Two TV's, and a separate shower stall and bath tub. Also, indoor pool, lounge and buffet breakfast for a fee. However, if you buy the breakfast package, I think it is only 20 xtra dollars, and all in your room eat free. Driving in early on a weekend, traffic is not bad (rush hour week day would be bad.) Also, parking spots turn over frequently in Lincoln park, and are time limited, so we had no problem stopping for food or shopping, and welcomed the retreat back to Oakbrook Terrace from the city.
