Great location with in walking of many of thie stores and restaurants we like but hotel valet is very poor to say the least and there is no bell service. The front counter and maid service was great but hotel need to be remodeled
The staff at this hotel always go above and beyond to help me when I stay. This location is one of my favorites. I always book the executive suite and things are always spotless. Even the bellman and restaurant staff are pleasant. This hotel is centrally located to Mag Mile and shopping on State Street
From the time I arrived I was greeted by the door man who I remembered from previous stay. Check in was so easy and they were extremely kind My room was immaculate and no problems at alll I extended my trip after a business meeting and was fortunate enough to stay in the same room and everyone was so extrememly nice I had a few cocktails in the bar and Ian, the bartender provided spot on recommendations for food and activities to do. Overall book a trip here, you will not be disapointed 0
We went to Chicago for a business trip and stayed 4 days and 3 nights at the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel. Great hotel and a fantastic location in downtown Chicago. The staff was so helpful and friendly. A Starbucks is even downstairs! Highly recommend it!
Excellent place to stay and enjoy the city while working. All the staff were friendly and eager to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I would recommend anyone to stay here while they stay in Chicago.
You can’t beat the location, just in the heart of Chicago, walking distance to everything. Please expect very expensive parking as you are in downtown. Hotel is clean, nice and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is pretty average for $29 per person price, so we decided to eat outside for the same money. Overall good hotel and we will stay there again.
The experience at this Hyatt was top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful. They supported me with some of my needs and accommodated my groups needs. The view from my window on the seventh floor was spectacular. There are so many restaurants and shopping opportunities within walking distance. The overall stay is what I would hope from all hotels moving forward.
We stayed in a King Suite using points. You still have to pay a $20 destination fee per day. They do give you a $15 credit for food each day. They wouldnt let me take it to go, I had to eat/drink at the restaurant and most items on the menu were above $15. Room was great and spacious and clean. We loved the hotel and location. We picked the King Suite because we needed extra room for our 11 month baby. Only picky things I have are that it is next to a hospital and so my wife heard the ambulance in the morning. The other is that for some reason I felt that there werent electric outlets where I wanted them to be. Had a great experience overall and would come back again!
This hotel is so consistent and accommodating that it’s an easy recommendation. Staff are kind and responsive and location is perfect for easy access to everything in Chicago. Highly recommend and personally preferred when traveling to Chicago.
The hotel was fine. The pool/hot tub had several very loud intoxicated adults on a Sunday morning so it was difficult to have my 5 year old daughter in there. The pool and hot tub were also not very clean, brown foam in the hot tub, hair and large puddles of water on tile surrounding the pool. It was not great. Also, one of the main reasons we booked this particular hotel was for the great reviews of the breakfast buffet, so imagine our disappointment when we were told it was closed for 2 weeks. Overall not exceptional in any way. We will likely book elsewhere for our next visit.
