We are just back from a wonderful weekend away in Kilronan Castle; we stayed in a Castle Suite and the room and views were fabulous. Room and bathroom were very clean and beautifully presented. We had dinner in the Library Bar on one night and in the Douglas Hyde on the other, food was very good in both and the...

Kilronan Castle Hotel is a beautiful Castle with nice rooms and a great historic atmosphere. The Castle was left to ruin with animals roaming within before it was totally restored to its previous architectural design and beauty. There are wonderful pictures in the rooms and hallways showing the castle in all its previous states. Our room was not in the...

On arrival at the hotel the staff were very courteous and showed myself and my partner to our room which was a standard. We then went to the bar for a drink after a long drive and were delighted by the selection of wines and spirits on offer. The pricing for larger and wine would be the same as you...

I stayed at this castle for one night during my castle tour, and I really wish I could have stayed here longer! This castle has had a lot of updates to make it a 5-star hotel, but still has the charm of a castle setting. The pool is beautiful, and the grounds around the castle are perfect for enjoying nature....

The room was a nice size and very fresh looking. Old style as you would expect. Rooms have air conditioning and all the things you would expect. The bed was...

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and offered an excellent service. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite and the room was fantastic. The spa and leisure...

Bought a groupon voucher for a two night stay in Kilronan Castle with a spa treatment and everything was fantastic. Our room was upgraded as there was a wedding in the hotel and which the receptionist kindly kept us away from. The restaurant was lovely, a bit expensive, but very enjoyable and the spa was fantastic. Really felt relaxed and...

We loved the countryside setting of the castle, beside a lake. Our third floor room (320) had nice view overlooking the front grounds of the hotel. The room was not too big but comfortable, with all the amenities you needed. We particularly liked the bathroom features of a large "soaker" tub, separate shower and heated towel racks. It took a while...
