Here you will find history in all walls. Wassilioff is probably in a unique position when it comes to Stavern. Zero competition. It may put them in a position that is somewhat passive. It is clear that they have recently refurbished something, but it is still characterized by a hotel of age. We stayed here at a time when it was very busy. Summertime. Stavern is extremely busy during this period. Still, we got the opportunity to stay here. Here they showed good service where they made a good effort to arrange rooms for us. The problem was that what we got was not strictly speaking a guest room. No windows and no air conditioning. That said, we were warned about this in advance. So it becomes unreasonable to complain about such. Of course, most rooms have a window. Unfortunately it got very hot in the room which went beyond the night's sleep. Here again the hotel shows good service. They promised us a better room next time we visit. And all in all, it's a nice stay here at Wassilioff. We will definitely be back.

Good for a business trip. Single rooms are not very spacious, and not too well soundproofed. Breakfast is available early in the morning, offers different dishes. Very good. The parking area reserved for hotel guests is scarce, but the neighborhood has many paid parking lots.

We were a family of 5 in two rooms (ground floor, against backyard) for one night. Too hot rooms, difficult to sleep, and we got NOK 1000 off. Bad odour in entrance area. A drunk man asleep sitting in a chair just inside the entrance in the evening. Though nice breakfast and surroundings.

Excellent location. Interesting history. An old hotel with atmosphere. Expensive. Our room was small and had a wiew to the back. Quiet. Breakfast very ordinary. We had expected more or our money, but should have booked a more expensive room with a view. Staff busy. The hotel is not suitable for disabled people.

A nice hotel by the sea in idyllic Stavern. We had a room with a lovely view. It was very comfortable. Nice helpful staff, and the food was excellent. Some parts of the hotel need a refresh and some paint on the windowframes. We had a great stay.
