Stayed here with my wife recently on a 2 night Groupon break as a base to re-visit Cotswolds. Conveniently close to Gloucester and Cheltenham. reasonably appointed hotel though room and soft furnishings in communal area a little 'tired' Friendly staff and food really quite good. In all a pleasant enough experience and would re-book if visiting the area again.

Stayed here for one night but is excellent for a longer stay. Although not happy with first room due to odour (which hotel were very quick to sort) our room was most pleasant.First class restaurant..First class service.

Booked a 2 night stay with secret escapes which included a meal , rooms clean and well equipped , staff friendly and helpful , breakfast very good on the first morning but on the second morning service slow and breakfast poor . Evening meal was lovely , the grounds of the hotel lovely and position brilliant to explore the Cotswolds

Just had a wonderful break at this hotel. We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra charge. The room was amazing as was the super king size bed. The view from the windows was beautiful as far as the eye could see. We booked our evening meal which was included in the package for 7 o clock. The... More

We stayed at the Hatherley Manor Hotel for two nights we had booked directly with the Hotel as it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The Reception staff were very helpful even though the person who took our booking had spelt our name & address wrong and had sent us the wrong information on the deal but this was soon sorted... This place appeared quite nice upon arrival but in general was an average experience that we wouldn't repeat. The staff were friendly enough, although some in the dining room were a little fussy and inefficient. Our room was okay but was pretty characterless and showing signs of wear - also with silly oversights such as a lack of toilet brush.... More

Visited this hotel in mid September 2016, and were allowed to bring our pet dog. Facilities for dogs are excellent with access to the Hotel field and some of the Bar areas. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. The afternoon cream tea was excellent value. Good hotel for taking a much... More

I stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday evening for a weekend break with my husband. Before we arrived we phoned to book a slot for dinner which was included in the price of the deal and also confirmed this when we arrived. However when we went to dinner that evening our room number was not on the list and... More

Looked forward to afternoon tea at Hatherley manor, but was very dissaponted. The sandwiches were quite nice, salmon, cucumber and egg, and the warm scones were delicious. However, the bit I was looking forward to were (to quote their web page) " delicious home made cakes". What we got were slices of swiss roll, and dry sponge garnished with a... More

Lovely location. easy access to the surrounding towns and countryside. Staff very pleasant and on the whole very helpful. Bedroom and en suite were comfortable, with a very pleasant outlook. All was very clean. Only small downside was the fact that the TV didn't work correctly and nothing was done to correct this over the three days that we were... More
