Ive just spent two nights in an exec family room which was overlooking the front entrance. The hotel was really busy with weddings and events whilst i was staying there. The room: I had an upgraded room with a very comfy bed and good blackout curtains; I always carry a short extension cable in the car and Im glad i...

The room was decorated very tastefully everyone at the hotel was very professional and welcoming and couldn't help enough with any request we had. The food is excellent in the restaurant and is a lovely atmosphere. The only criticism I have is that there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which I thought was unusual. I...

We met up with two sets of neighbours we used to live next too and the hotel provided ideal surroundings for such an event. Upon arrival afternoon tea and early evening drinks in a relaxed environment settled everybody into the mood to relax and enjoy ourselves. A meal for nine was delivered very well and our only gripe was a...

We only had one night at this hotel but were extremely impressed by the overall decoration and quality of furniture and fittings. The staff were all polite and very helpful, the bedroom large and well equipped with a lovely comfortable bed and high quality linen. We ventured out to a local pub for dinner (The Queens Head at Longford -...

We stayed at Hatherley Manor for 5 nights during what had threatened to be a very wet and foggy week. However, the weather turned out to be much better than this and our stay proved to be most enjoyable. The hotel is well situated almost mid-way between Gloucester and Cheltenham which are both lovely cities and well worth a visit...

Our dinner, from a good selection, was excellent with superb service in the restaurant: breakfast was very good and service was good too. Reception staff proved good and capable, especially...

We stayed for one night aspart of a "Secret Escapes" package including afternoon tea, dinner, bed and breakfast. The hotel is situated about ten minutes drive from the centre of Gloucester in a quiet, rural location. The welcome at reception was efficient and welcoming; the staff were all friendly without being intrusive; the bedrooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable;...

I have never been to a UK hotel which offers such an excellent all round service. The welcome was good, the food excellent, my bed comfortable, and room spotlessly clean . The staff were all very helpful and attentive. It makes such a nice change to get a 5 star service and food in a UK hotel. The menu was...
