Even living near St Louis for several years, driving up the River Road, we passed this quaint little village many times. I can't tell you how charming the area is!! The Maple Leaf Cottage Inn is adorable!! The rooms take you to a different time, relaxing, beautiful and clean. Beds are very comfortable!! The service is more than I expected....

Dear Catherine, thank you very much for writing your kind and thoughtful review. You bet some of our regular guests from St. Louis want to keep it a SECRET - a short drive across the river to their private little piece of heaven retreat! Many are afraid if the "secret" gets out, they will have a difficult time reserving a...

When traveling I often try to find B&Bs that have that personal touch and Deb at the Maple Leaf was fantastic. We were celebrating my 60th birthday, which I happened to mention at the time of the reservation. The Buggy Shop was decked out with birthday decorations and we were welcomed with home-made brownies. Deb answered all of our questions,...

Hello birthday girl ... thank you for your thoughtful review. Decorating for your birthday party was fun. I am glad you enjoyed it : ) Hurry back, the daffodils are blooming right now. My garden flowers and plants are waking up from the winter ... popping up in beautiful colors. I'm already seeing new spring green everywhere and pops of...

We just recently had 9 ladies celebrating a milestone birthday for one in our party! First of all, the entire town of Elsa is adorable...everyone is friendly, the town is spotless, we felt like we were in Mayberry. Our cottages were awesome. Deborah and Tim went so out of there way to accommodate us. Every night they prepared us a...

What a wonderful place to be with friends. The cottages were beautiful and the owners hospitality was exceptional. I highly recommend the B&B. It was so close to beautiful parks and 15 to Godfrey and 10 to Grafton. Right on the Mississippi River. Great time.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Tim and I are so blessed to meet so many wonderful people at our B&B. You come as guests and leave as new friends. Thank goodness we are a short drive from St. Louis ... a quick getaway that doesn't take long to get here. I agree, a short trip down the river road...

We could not have had a better time! Southern hospitality in the middle of the country. Deb and Tim Smith were so thoughtful, helpful, and sweet to us. The extra touches were much appreciated. Bon fires out back, the best breakfasts you will EVER eat, the charming and comfortable rooms, and too much too see and do which means we...

Well I am not sure if I have still ever stayed at a Bed & Breakfast. We stayed in the Carriage House which is much more than a bedroom. It is a 100+ year old building that served as a carriage repair shop for many years, the flooring is original and has a lot of character to it. The building...
