Location and parking are great. Room 4 was not recently renovated, my opinion. Room was somewhat clean but there were spider webs in the corners of the ceiling. The carpet in the lounging area was old. The continental breakfast is sketchy but there is a sandwich shop next door that had an amazing breakfast. First night I am pretty sure we were the only ones in the building and never seen anyone at the front desk. Only way into the building is through the back door. Unlocking the door was cumbersome. Not sure exactly what is going on with this B&B, if it is new owners, a work in progress or if this is just what you get. For the money we spent, we’ll look around next time.

I don’t think this should qualify as a B & B as they advertise a continental breakfast and there was nothing. Our room was clean but there was no daily fresh towels or bed service. We never did see any owner or manager during our stay, he called or texted us about check in and when we departed we left the key at the front desk. The location of the Inn and parking were great.

We had a very clean and quiet room (#4) with a Jacuzzi tub that filled quickly, a fireplace, a flat screen TV and a comfortable bed. The room had a fridge and coffeemaker. Free parking behind, a nice deck and patio. Dave and Karen were wonderful hosts. We will go back and stay longer.

Horrible place, rude guy, no breakfast even though it is a bed in breakfast, I think we were the only ones staying there. We never saw anybody there not even staff. There are so many gorgeous places where to stay that if we knew we would never stayed here.

Upon our arrival after driving three hours, we were greeted with a sign at the front door,”if no one is here please call.” So, I called and left a message. We a Walked around Galena until we got a call back from the host. He was rude and blamed me for not going around the back to enter and check in. The room was adequate but not worth the money. I enquirer about breakfast as this is a bed and breakfast. I was surprised that the unwelcoming , and rude host told me due to covid there was no breakfast provided. However, I can make a nice cup of coffee in my room. No mention on the website about any of this and how hard would it be to provide a constant or sweet roll. What a bummer. To be in such a beautiful small town with many choices and to feel “stick” here was not a good feeling. Not a welcoming place to stay which was reflected by the host. Lots of choices to stay here, this one I would choose to stay away.…

Location and parking as others note make this place one to consider. We were surprised our first night when we were told we would be the only people in the place overnight. The caretaker does not live on the premises, and there is nobody there 24 hours a day. First time I’ve ever stayed at a place that rents out rooms with common areas that nobody is there to watch over things. I was also surprised there was no service to our room the second day there. No bed made, no fresh towels, no vacuum run through. Kim the caretaker is very friendly and very nice. We enjoyed visiting with her. Just a different experience than I’ve had at any other B& B, hotel, or motel. They do tell you on the website they offer a continental breakfast. The place is old, and trying to make rental rooms with baths is hard in some of these old buildings. Our bathroom #5, was very tight. Nowhere to put toiletries when you are in there. Use extension cords, power strips as I assume outlets are very limited. The bed was comfortable. Just don’t expect amazing accommodations if you go here.…

305N was perfectly located for our weekend, up the hill, but 5 minutes from everything. The staff was welcoming and everything was comfortable in room 4. It was very nice to have free off street parking and deck out back.

This location is key! It was so nice to shop and bring our things back to our room. It was so convenient. The room was cozy. It worked for the two of us. My complaints are the bed was really uncomfortable, you can hear the people above you(floors are very squeaky and loud) we could hear their conversations clearly as if they were standing next to us, the bathroom door doesn’t close all the way. It was a good price for a night. I’m not sure I would stay again though.

A group of 4 women, we had rooms 2 & 4. Not clean, light shining in hall showed all the dirt in the corners, we all slept in room 4, 2 was dirty and furniture was old and dirty, not in an antique way; continental breakfast" was late and minimal, a few slices of bread, yogurt and orange juice was not exactly what we expected, we took a look and decided to go down the road and pay for breakfast. Staff was not friendly, we had to call even though we arrived during check in time, but they did not answer. Another guest let us in and the gentleman at check in actually said they shouldn't have, very weird and uncomfortable. For one night, it was tolerable, given the good location, but I wouldn't stay here again.
