We stayed in Albert's Glen and fell in love with our room, the Guest House, our hosts, Galena, and so much more. Everything is filled to the brim with incredible high end custom art by Charles, one of the hosts, from drawings to ceramic tile to door hinges. The bed is luxurious, attention to guests' needs and comforts is impeccable....

We just returned from a romantic getaway at Abes Guest House. Our master suite was perfectly appointed with original artwork by Charles, and the attention to detail from Sandy made our stay comfortable, beautiful and yummy. It's now Sunday eve and Don and I are not yet hungry! Our dinner on Saturday, incuded in the package, was fresh and filling,...

Loved our suite of rooms in the historical building. Our suite had a firm mattress, pullout sofa, corner electric fireplace, small refrigerator, wine glasses and opener, good A/C, room darkening shades, nice bath with shower, and a private entrance up the porch steps from the parking. Light sleepers might notice the traffic on the highway, but I slept through any...

We booked early do to a holiday weekend. Sandy was incredible to say the least. We were late for our check-in. We got a courtesy call and Sandy so kindly waited for us to arrive. Hospitality was amazing and her breakfasts were outstanding. Visit her husbands pottery / art gallery, this man is extremely talanted. Abe's Spring Street B&B is...

Everything in our room was perfect. We loved all of the handcrafted tiles, sculptures and woodwork that was done by the owner (pictured below). The hot tub/ sauna room was great as well. Breakfast was incredible and we were full for hours. The owners really care and love what they do, as it shows when you stay there. We plan...

My wife and I spent two nights at Albert's Glen in Abe's Spring Street Guest House as we celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary. It is very clean and spacious with its multiple rooms including a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and table and chairs. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the unique bathroom was fabulous. There...

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Abe's Spring Street Guest House. We were lucky to be able to book Albert's Glen, which was completely stunning in person--the photos do not do it justice. The bed was so luxurious (and HUGE), and the hand-sculpted artwork and details in the suite added such a lovely touch. We fell head-over-heels in...

We recently visited as a weekend away from the kids. We had this trip planned for months and a week before the trip I suffered an injury that left me on crutches. They were very accommodating to my needs. Also the room was amazing and had a vintage look. It's right on the Main Street into town, yet you rarely...

Had a wonderful weekend. Very quiet and relaxing. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The private spa room was fantastic. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast is out of this world. The location is excellent, downtown shopping in walking distance. I highly recommended this lovely place to make your trip to Galena memorable.

What a fabulous place. If this is your first time staying at a bed and breakfast in Galena, this is the place that sets the bar for all the rest. Make it your first choice when trying to find accommodations in this area. You will not be sorry. Besides wonderful pieces of art the breakfast was fresh and wonderful.
