Detailed Reviews
Room was lovely and location was spot on. Helen at reception is great. Had a few issues w key to door not working and had issue with hiring beach towels - you have to pay 20 euro for two towels and then when you return you get 10 euro back. We paid the 20 euro to the receptionist. She put it into a plastic pocket in a folder. When we returned the towels and asked for our money 10 euro she said we never paid and then after a while she reimbursed us the 10 euro. So my advice would be to take photos of you giving the money perhaps and taking a photo of the money going into the folder. Or if pay by card screenshot the payment.
Other than that it was a really lovely stay. That said you can hear everything at night - ie the man snoring next door.
Also ask for a balcony. Those rooms look way better.

I stayed in Miramar port de soller a few days ago. The place is run down. Needs doing up and lot of things need fixing. The rooms are OK make sure you get rooms at back with mountain view as they are cooler. Not all rooms have air-conditioning so make sure you ask for room with one as they get very hot. Have safe would pay not that dear then you get key. You can higher a fridge. Only give you one key for room will not get another so come down another day and say you lost key if you want second key. I would use place for room only as good location to best beach and restaurants. Breakfast is bad only cooled food was ok. Do not eat or drink Food bad and drinks not cold and run out fast. Better places near by. Stafe are nice. Helen at breakfast is the best if you need anything. Reception is open all the time I know they say it is not but if know at it just ask one of the staff around and they will help you. I would give it 1 and a half stars. Cleaning staff very good room clean every day and New towels. I would only stay if you can not afford any were else as if you get right room is ok. You can only sit out side as inside bar is realy only used for dirty plats and empty glass.

This hotel is absolutely not recommendable. Staff is rude, breakfast is horrible and the walls must be made of paper, as you can hear everything around you. Cleaning left their long dark hair in the bathroom and changed towels even we did ask them not to.
Beds are good though.

We arrived in area by tram, looking for a bite to eat for lunch. Initial impressions were high, based on location, overlooking harbour, but then it went downhill.
Ordering was slow, missing some drink orders, but we persevered and order lunch.
The lasagna was the worst ever, even the beef burger with egg was not tasty. The servers failed, after 3 attempts to deliver salt and peppers to the table, and the only saving grace was a normal tuna baguette!
The service was poor, the insides were a shambles, the staff were overrun, the toilets a mess. Give this place a miss, there are far better dining establishments in the town

Small family run hotel right on the seafront in Port de Soller with a bar/restaurant/seating area which is a great place to sit back, relax, gaze at the sea and people watch. Rooms are not luxurious but are bright spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff are what makes it special though. All of whom we found to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfSt is very good for a two star hotel with a selection of hot and cold food on offer and plenty of decent coffee to go with it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. It is excellent value in a brilliant location, just a few steps from the water's edge, the historic tram and an excellent assortment of bars, restaurants and shops.

Awful food and over priced.
Had three cokes one cheese sandwich and one tuna sandwich. Cheese sandwich was two slices stale bread with cheese and cheep crisps on side. Tuna sandwich was at least toasted with some salad and again cheap crisps. All for 33 euros. Very disappointed.

We've been to Pollensa many times and this year the service was terrible from the waiters at the Miramar.
Not only was the waiter rude to our group he insulted a family behind us and was so rude it was uncomfortable. We also witnessed other waiters being rude to people asking for a table.
The younger staff were friendly however the older male staff really need to be ashamed of how they treat and speak to paying guests.
Such a shame as the Miramar have a beautiful location yet it means nothing if the staff are rude, arrogant and insulting.
We certainly won't be returning to the Miramar and it seemed to be a general attitude from other guests that were there too.
A real let down this year!

Unfortunately the Hotel did not advise us when we booked that our stay included the Port de Soller local festival which takes place almost opposite/a short distance from the Hotel. On the Friday night of our stay, we had no sleep until after 5.30am. The Hotel gave us another, slightly quieter, room for the Saturday night but we were still unable to sleep properly until after 5am again. Although the festival is great, it was something that we felt we should have been told about when booking as it has such an impact on the Hotel Miramar. We could have considered staying on different dates. (And certainly some guests would opt to stay at the Hotel on that particular weekend if they are interested in the festival.) Otherwise we found service and the buffet breakfast to be average, but adequate for a 2 star Hotel. The location is great for the beach, the tram, shopping and eating places. Our twin bedded room with balcony and seaview was lovely (although it could have been cleaner). One other important point for keen swimmers, although the bay is very pretty, due to it's formation, the seawater is not at all clean (oil etc from all the boats) nor inviting. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Stopped at the Miramar for drinks and food pre our flight home around 16.00 so it was very quiet. Ordered 2 bottles of water and a couple of soft drinks. The waiter, after somewhat of a delay, plonked 2 supermarket plastic bottles of water on the table along with a coke and an apple juice. He did not return to take a food order. The outside table area was unorganised, scruffy, and waiting staff were disinterested. We didn't order food due to our negative impressions....and the fact that a waiter didn't return. The drinks came to 30 euros which is excessive for what we had. We had a lovely meal further along in a different restaurant. There are plenty of better places along the port. I would not return or recommend.

Didn't stay in the hotel thank goodness but the restaurant experience stood out as the worst I've ever had.
The wait staff were miserable, but clearly busy so we waited patiently for our food. My partner's pizza was fine. I had ordered a Ensalada Miramar which was described as a salad of tomatoes, avocadoes and shrimp with balsamic dressing. It was chucked in front of me. It was a large bowl of lettuce, carrot, sweetcorn and beetroot, no dressing at all and garnished with a quarter of a avocado and 4 shrimp. 2 of the shrimp still had the strip of faeces within their bodies. The salad was flavourless, not dressed, and certainly not as described. It also contained the stump of the lettuce. I called a wait staff over and told her I wasn't happy. She shouted 'momento' at me and promptly went back to serving everyone else. I waited patiently until she started taking the order of someone who'd just come in. I called her over and said I want the bill. She gave me the bill with the prawn salad included. I told her I had no intention of paying for the uneaten salad. Again she shouted 'momento' and went back to work, ignoring me for another 10 minutes. We went inside and started to try to pay for 2 drinks and one meal only. The staff just kept shouting 'momento' but again not actually going to fetch a manager or do anything. In the end we just left the payment for the one meal and two drinks on the counter and walked out.
IT wasn't only the appallingly bad salad that was so different from it's description, but the refusal to engage meaningfully with us to resolve the situation. It was appalling and I was disgusted. Stupidly didn't take any photos.

There is nowhere to park for free but the nearby street parking is €6 per day.
No parking. Contact hotel for parking details.
The hotel in itself is depressing but you don´t need to stay inside the hotel all the day. Port de Soller is a nice small village and a good starting point for the hiking routes. My stay at Miramar was my first and last! But there are many other nice hotels at the village! And you can take the old tram to Soller which take about 20 minutes.
Hi
Probably too late, but I went by local bus to town, then train to Soller, and taxi to the Port. Taxi ios cheaper than tram if there are two of you.
