It was a wonderful escape from work and we really enjoyed our time. It is a magical holiday for us. We have enjoyed the food, the scenery and the lovely and friendly team. My gratitude to Mr. Ross and the team and special thanks to Mr. Ifoo for his professionalism in handling my requests and making my visit smooth and enjoyable. Please accept all of you my sincere appreciation and thanks.
Have just returned from the most amazing week in the Maldives at this stunning resort, could not rate it highly enough, from the moment my husband and I set foot on the island we were treated like royalty and every member of staff made us feel very welcome and special including our amazing villa host. We were staying in one of the stunning over water villas, which had every possible amenities and if you needed anything else by chance it was not a bother and sourced for you asap! All restaurants we attended had great service and lovely food, excursions were good value for money. All in all we could not have had a better experience for our first time (hopefully not last) in the Maldives,
We had a wonderful time. There are a plethora of activities to indulge yourself in, from scuba diving in a beautiful home reef to watching the stars in their observatory. The experience is only complemented by the excellent food options and caring hospitality that gives you delight! The place is nothing short of paradise on earth.

We travelled to Anantara Kihavah from August 28-September 5 as a family of 2 adults with 6 children ranging ages from 16 to 8 years young and unanimously this was our best holiday ever. And we have had some fab holidays in Morocco, Turkey , Sri Lanka and USA to name just a few. If you are going for the first time to Maldives or the twentieth time - as a family or with your partner - i cannot imagine a more perfect experience. For a destination that is synonymous with luxury travel and out of this world experiences, Ross Sanders and his team set the bar pretty high for the rest. Yes they have "natural" advantage being in a unesco biosphere reserve with absolutely breathtaking natural beauty but its what they do with it that makes Anantara Kihavah so special. From the first mail to the hotel website which lists the GM as the contact you knew that you were not going to be just another number. We worked through all the different room options and settled on an over the water sunset residence, thanks to Ross's recommendation. It was absolutely spectacular , the space, the snorkelling under our residence, the daily 11am visit by a beautiful manta, the pool side sunset views, the beds and the bathrooms . Could not have been more prefect. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the residence but there was just so much to do : the snorkelling out in front of the dive centre, cinema under the stars, ocean fishing, dolphin watching, wine tasting, star gazing. But the best parts were not even that: it was all of us on our bicycles and one tricycle to explore the island. Meeting Shahraj in the organic garden who served us freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and then gave us fresh bananas to take back. It was making sandcastles and the every smiling Sugar and Rege who will make every dining experience better than the previous. It was Captain Rayeed and his team who took us fishing and we actually caught a shark with our line - of course, we let it go! It was Chef Ploy who made teppanyaki into live entertainment but made sure the food was exceptional. It was Arun the wine guru making sure we always had a nice drink in hand and even non alcoholic champagne for the children to enjoy. It was Exec Chef Prabash offering us to make a special south Indian breakfast and remembering when we had forgotten. It was his team member Chef Dulal sending me home made fresh spinach curry with shrimps to remind me of home. And our ever smiling villa host Ashfaan orchestrating it all. …
