I stayed at Troy Farm earlier this week, as I was having some work done to my car at a garage close by before heading to Silverstone the next morning, but what was supposed to be just a functional, necessary visit soon turned in to a lovely, relaxing, mid-week break. Ruth was very welcoming, the house was terrific and my...

Several members of our family, comprising of four generations stayed at Troy Farm. We have all stayed previously, as we were attending a family party in the vicinity. We were warmly welcomed by Ruth, and made to feel at home. We had young children aged 3, 5 and 6 in our party. We were all made to feel at home....

We booked in at the Troy Farm B and B because it was close to the location of the supper club that we were going to, and also because of the great reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. Ruth is a wonderful host - thoughtful, really knowledgeable about the local area and incredibly welcoming. We had a wonderful twin...

My cousin's hubbie organised a surprise birthday for her at the Secret Supper Club in Somerton. They only have a few rooms, but were kind to give me a list of other B&Bs nearby. I asked where was more eclectic and different out of the selection. Jules said Troy Farm. I asked where she would choose and Jules said without...

Wonderful welcome, fabulous place, loved every minute and planning my next visit soon. Sitting in the glorious garden, enjoying peace and a large cup of coffee while stroking the gorgeous white/golden retriever who had given me an enthusiastic welcome. Perfect. Comfortable bed, lovely room and ensuite.

We loved it so much we spent our wedding night here! Ruth has such a lovely way with her, from the off we thoroughly enjoyed organising our special day and she was more than accommodating by trying to fit in the needs of some of our family. The rooms are spacious, have a lovely feel to them and you are...

Fabulous B&B. Great location and brilliant friendly welcome. Pot of tea on arrival and nothing is too much trouble. Ruth & Alec even extended to an informal taxi service. Comfortable room and very friendly dogs. We had a brilliant time. Thank you.

I stayed here with a fellow work mate whilst working on the new recycling plant in nearby Ardley. Upon arrival we were greeted by Poppy and Tango the retrievers. Really friendly dogs. We were then offered tea/coffee and biscuits with great conversation. Next was to be shown to our rooms. They were beautiful, roomy and comfortable with an en-suite too....

“We had the pink room, ensuite bathroom but also accessed from landing. We had to share the bathroom 1 night but this was no problem as you can lock the door to the landing. Room itself was spotless, a good size and beautiful.”
